A magnificent hotel with unique architecture and decoration, an open observation terrace overlooking the bridge, the bay and the mountains.
The hotel is located on a mountain, but this isn’t a problem, as there is always a bus shuttle running. The advantage of walking near the hotel is that you can see the huge deer that usually walk on the hill.
The rooms are luxurious with a very comfortable bed.
A good breakfast with European and excellent Chinese cuisine, which is easily suitable for Europeans.
In the evening, a restaurant with excellent cuisine and its own beer is open on the observation terrace.
We stayed with my family for a week, which is not enough for this hotel, but we will definitely return.
Pleased note that they ask for a deposit upon check-in.

При заселение попросили депозит 3000 уаней за 3 ночи. На сайте в описании депозит не был указан. На мою просьбу на ресепшн о замене завтрака на 2 человек в сумме 6000 рублей на ужин (с доплатой) отказали. Выезд был в 4 утра, с собой ничего не сложили (вечером мы просили об этом). В итоге поели только спустя 5 часов (были с ребёнком). Цена очень сильно завышена. Когда-то отель был хорош, сейчас лёгкий флёр азиатской чистоты оставляет свои следы. Оболрано, оторвано и тп. Когда останавливпешься в отеле за номер в 30 000 рублей в сутки данное не позволительно. Очень разочаровал. Жду возврата депозита. С едой для европейцев большая проблема, отель ориентирован на китайцев. Грязный балкон, ободранная кровать, потресканная тумбочка, вываливающийся поролон из кресел.
The Castle Hotel is great for staying if you have a wedding / event, or want to snap some amazing photos with great views of Dalian. It's absolutely a stunning themed hotel and has very friendly employees! Also, the breakfast was GREAT!!!
To be honest, I think this is one of those types of hotels where you stay for one night maximum and find a better value hotel nearby. It's a bit inconvenient to get to (it's literally on a giant hill) and besides being beautiful, it doesn't have THAT much inside to see or do. It felt like a weird mix of a resort and a hotel, like it didn't know what it was trying to sell.
i like the infrastructure and service. the hotel is so gorgeous. i will recommend this hotel to my friends

Rooms are very warm (too warm) and a/c wasn't sufficiently effective.
Toilet is so automated that it is annoying.
+ The whole place is majestic and beautiful! If you walk in, you feel like an aristocrat ;) There are not only hotel rooms inside the building, but also conference rooms and a posh ballroom.
+ Nice location with a very nice view at the bridge and the ocean.
+ Clean and spacious rooms.
- At the reception, there was some confusion about a deposit - I was required to pay a deposit for my stay, which was not mentioned on Booking.com. Eventually, the receptionists dropped the deposit requirement when I mentioned that I would not use the minibar.
- It was quite hot inside the room (+27 C) (although it was cold outside), and the air conditioner did not seem to lower the temperature, although we set it to 20 C.
- The door to the shower and the toilet room was transparent, and you could look into these rooms from the bedroom, which I find not very privacy-friendly.

酒店服务差，Check in 完， 没任何人带路，要求很明确，房间小，就一张大床，怎么可以住三个大人，很不负责任，价钱收的很贵。
Nice place
We stayed as a family for four nights at The Castle Dalian and thoroughly enjoyed our experience. Our spacious and beautifully decorated room on the 12th floor offered stunning views of the sea, making our stay truly memorable.
The hotel’s entrance lobby is impressively large and elegantly designed, creating a welcoming atmosphere right from the start. For families with children, there is a large play area available, which requires an additional fee. Fortunately, hotel guests receive a discounted rate.
Outside, the hotel boasts a charming small park with fantastic views over the bay and lovely landscaping—perfect for a relaxing stroll. The hotel is situated on a small hill, so the walk back to the city center is a bit long. However, the free shuttle bus service is very convenient, providing easy transport down to the city and back.
Our room was thoughtfully furnished and very spacious, including a large and well-equipped bathroom. One minor downside was that there was only one power outlet next to the bed (on one side only), and no USB ports for charging phones, which would have been a nice addition.
Breakfast and other meals at the hotel were delicious, with a rich selection of both Chinese and Western dishes to choose from. The only area for improvement would be the cleanliness of the restrooms in the breakfast restaurant, which unfortunately were often untidy and in need of more frequent attention.
The swimming pool, maintained at 27°C, was not ideal for small children as there is no separate kids’ section. Guests should also note that wearing a swim cap is mandatory. The pool area includes a mini Finnish sauna and a steam sauna integrated into the changing rooms. However, there are only loungers next to the pool, so the sauna experience was quite different from the relaxing sauna visits we are used to in Europe.
Overall, The Castle Dalian offers a lovely stay with beautiful views, excellent food, and family-friendly amenities, making it a great choice for travelers visiting the area.
