Netter Aufenthalt in Dunbar!
Pros:

Großes sauberes Zimmer, freundliches Personal, nette kleine Bar. Im Sinne der Nachhaltigkeit muss man vorher angeben, was man sich zum Frühstück wünscht. Hafen und Strand fussläufig erreichbar. Im Hafen gibt es einen Imbissstand. Die angebotene Seafood sollte man sich nicht entgehen lassen. Am Ort befindet sich auch die älteste aktive Brauerei Schottlands.

Cons:

Das Zimmer lag zu einer mäßig befahrenen Straße hin. Dem Hotel zugute halten muss man allerdings, dass dies in der Beschreibung erwähnt wurde.

Great hotel
Pros:

Lovely hotel just a few minutes off the A1 Easy to find and plenty of parking
Quick and easy check in then shown to our room (3) which was beautiful and looked newly renovated We had a room to the rear but that suited us as it was very quiet Lovely heavy curtains kept out the light Bed and pillows are the best we’ve ever slept in - so comfortable and plump
Shower room was also newly refurbished to a high standard Shower power wasn’t the best but we did appreciate that it’s an old building and we are led to believe that the owners are looking into this small issue
a pre ordered breakfast next day was delicious and freshly cooked
Breakfast cereals , yoghurts , juices were also available
Dunbar itself is a lovely town with a working harbour which we enjoyed watching with a coffee
We will most certainly be back and will stay at Dunmuir hotel without a doubt

Perfect stay
Pros:

This was a great find of a hotel.... staff are so friendly and welcoming.
Bedrooms are very spacious and comfortable.
And the food is outstanding.... spoilt for choice! Highly recommend and 5 minutes off the A1.
Will definitely be back when next working in this area. Thank you

Superb location - close to High Street (for good restaurants and cafes) + Beach and Station.
Pros:

We had a basic room which was compact, but had everything you need. Bed was a good size. Mattress and pillows a little hard, but ok. Bathroom also small. Shower not very powerful, but clean and tidy.

Pros:

Clean rooms, fluffy towels.

Cons:

Pre scheduled breakfast order & time isn’t relaxing for a family weekend away with kids. Delayed train meant arriving 7 mins past 11pm which was met with a huge sigh when I called in advance to explain.

Pros:

Bit of a curate’s egg. Very comfy bed, but distinct lack of drawer storage space if staying several nights. Large shower, but low water pressure an issue, lovely towels though. Breakfast choices were fine, however pre-ordering a bit of a throwback in an hotel environment. Staff in the main were helpful and attentive. Good location, near the station and easy access from A1.
