I liked the room itself; and the design of the building’s architecture was beautiful!
I didn’t like certain members of staff; when I arrived on the first night; I was “welcomed” with a rather unpleasant experience at the entrance. Now yes; I arrived outside the regular checkin times and I hadn’t a booking reserved for that night in particular; I understand that there is little that can be done in regards to that; but that still does not excuse the attitude and manners; or lack there of; which I was subjected to; given that I had already paid for the following 2 nights.
I’m not sure of the gentleman’s name; nor do I really care for that matter; but he was the ringmaster in the rotten experience I had; accompanied by another unhelpful young man. His tone of voice was harsh, he had a severe lack of manners, and all in all; I found him to be outrageously disrespectful; given that I was paying good money for my stay.

Spacious and modern room, handy location,
The shower leaked onto the bathroom floor and out into the main room so we had to stop using it. We told reception and they said we could use the shower in the gym. My partner tried the gym shower but the water was cold. We again told reception who said that the manager was away and that we would receive an email in a few days. Never received an email.

Paying for parking and charging for entry to the spa leave a bad taste
room is great. the staff were great to deal with.
breakfast was very poor. arrived for breakfast at half 8 and there is no bacon or eggs. pudding was very dry.
Great staff and we ate twice in the restaurant which was very tasty. It is the perfect location for Sligo town.

Parking is ridiculous, imagine being offered and having to park in a neighbouring hotel. I also was put in a different room but it was still a very nice room so I didn’t mind at all
