Lovely experience all around at a lovely property
Pros:

First, the staff were all very helpful, welcoming, efficient and professional. We were able to enjoy both the bar area and snacks, as well as the onsite restaurant. All were fantastic. The rooms we requested to be near each other were just across the hallway from each other, which was perfect. The rooms were beautifully decorated and the beds and bed linens were excellent. The Q Line (free) was easily accessible across the street, which made transportation to The Fisher and later to our dinner location easy and quick!

Definitely will book again when we have another event to attend to in the area.

Location, grand entrance, friendly staff and restaurant on site.

Cons:

Price!, parking was not included, no pool, and there was no complimentary breakfast

Beautiful property
Pros:

It’s beautiful building located close to everything.

Cons:

It was advertised as having air-conditioning, it did not have air-conditioning. The staff gave us a three hour runaround on mitigating actions to cool our room down from the 80° that it was. A box fan was given to us which brought it down to 76° for the night needless to say we did not stay for our entire booking and found a hotel that appropriately had the air-conditioning that was advertised.

Elegant historic gem in the center of the city
Pros:

Property is gorgeous with a luxurious vibe. Excellent central location and truly wonderful staff.

Cons:

The water and water pressure in such an old building was typically poor. Shower didn’t really get warm but the sink was scolding hot. Water from the sink was also extremely cloudy.

Pros:

Even with all the hustle and bustle going on in downtown Detroit, walking through these doors transports you into a clean luxurious relaxing environment immediately. The decor was tasteful and the room accommodations were perfect.

Weekend getaway
Pros:

Placement in the city is always a plus. Came to see the Pistons vs Lakers game and it is only a 3 block walk to Little Caesar’s arena. Staff is very friendly only knock is the doors need to be level and plum. The room I was in was not great with the heat.

Beautiful hotel
Pros:

This hotel was stunning. I love that we were greeted by everyone & everyone was friendly. Especially the young man with the seahorse pin at the front desk. He even gave us free drinks, which were fantastic. I lived that there are little seating areas everywhere. Our room was the best, perfect for friends. Both sleep areas were great. I wish I lived here.

Great Hotel Staff
Pros:

Tashia was amazing. She made my stay very convenient. She created a welcoming environment for me and my friends. Overall my experience was wonderful during my stay and a big part of that was thanks to Tashia. She was very welcoming and genuinely attentive. She made sure everything was smooth and stress-free, answering all my questions with patience and a positive attitude. I will definitely be staying here again.
