Everything was great
Not too busy and well located within the city.
Elevators were slow and AC units were loud in my room.

Staff was wonderful, the girl was very nice, patient, and helpful. Is nice to find people nice like her, after a long trip on the road. Tell u the truth, I always read comments of different hotels, and to add I've to admit I try to book in Capestry Hotel by Hilton and the customer assistance was VERY disappointing NO help when I was trying to make a reservation. So I keep reading reviews, and I read some reviews of YOUR hotel and I make my decision, I booked and I'm not disappointing at all.
The Hyatt Centric is conveniently located in the heart of the Chicago Loop. Close to the El, great restaurants and within walking distance to The Art Institute, Printers Row, Millennium Park, Chicago River Walk and the River North neighborhood. We ended up staying in one of the suites, which was phenomenal. It had excellent views of the Loop and we could also see the lake—even though it was a sliver between the buildings. The room was clean and quiet and exceeded my expectations.

We had a wonderful time at the Hyatt Centric. The rooms and bathrooms were incredibly spacious, and the location is super convenient—an easy walk to tons of local attractions. We really appreciated the complimentary coffee, water, and fruit available daily. To top it off, the Onsie Mexican restaurant was absolutely delicious! Highly recommend.
The only downside was a glitch with our booking.com reservation—even though I had prepaid, the hotel system showed a balance due and they tried to charge me again. The front desk was able to sort it out and fix it, but it was a bit annoying to deal with right at check-in. Overall though, a great stay and I'd highly recommend it!
The location.
The room had a smell. The phone didn’t work. I called to have the phone fixed and it never happened. Housekeeping only came once. I had a king suite and the bed was definitely a queen and very low to the ground.
Charging me for coffee?!? At the rates I paid?!? WTH?
