Ambrose Hotel

A lovely, inviting space - inside and out - and an especially warm, friendly and gracious staff. I really enjoyed my stay and would definitely stay there again.

A group of friends volunteered in the area and were looking for a place for the night that wasn't crazy expensive like the Santa Monica hotels closer to the water. The Ambrose was a pleasant surprise. It is very clean and up to date. Taylor at the front desk, and everyone else we encountered, were very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the complimentary glass of wine when we arrived after a long day and the coffee bar in the morning had everything we needed. I would definitely recommend The Ambrose to anyone needing to stay in the Santa Monica area!

This boutique hotel is a gem! The staff is friendly and attentive. The amenities like happy hour and being directly across from Tartine is an added bonus. There's a Tesla that does free drop off and pickups and our driver Noelle was the sweetest!

Very nice hotel and room.

The Ambrose hotel is wonderful not only for its location but for the incredible team working there. Everyone we encountered was amazing, helpful and so wonderful. From Noelle who gave helpful recommendations and rides with their complimentary car service while also being lovely company. To Molly and Eileen at the front who made sure that our stay was perfect and were always warm and friendly. Alex the manager and Hugo the lovely person behind the bar for amazing happy hour. The level of care and brilliantly unique and kind people made this one of our favorite hotel stays in a while and we will definitely be back. The Ambrose is the right choice for its the amazing people working there!

Clean and close for my stop in morning

Great boutique hotel in a safe neighbourhood. The rooms were super clean with comfy beds and soft linens. Convenient to have secure underground parking on site. The hotel had complimentary tea/coffee at all times in their lobby area, and offered a Tesla ride to nearby attractions. Was also great to have one of the best bakeries right across - perfect for breakfast/lunch or a delicious dessert. Would highly recommend this hotel.

Our family members enjoyed a really nice weekend at the Ambrose Hotel. The location of the hotel was great and allowed us easy access to all amenities and ocean. There was even a farmer's market on Saturday that we enjoyed. The common areas were awesome and inviting which made staying with extended family more fun. And, the staff was helpful, friendly, and very professional.

Very comfortable and attractive property, good sized rooms. I ended up here as it was close to the office where I had two days of meetings. However it wasn’t close enough that I could walk, so I was pleasantly surprised that they had a hotel car for local transport. It was a really nice touch, especially with the friendly Noelle as my driver. She was great! The personal service erased the usual hassles of a long business trip. Thank you Noelle and the rest of the team for making this a great experience!
