Nice hotel with great access to the area, but probably wouldnt book again for a long-term stay
Pros:

Its location in downtown chicago was the main reason this location was booked. And compared to other places near by, the prices were really good

Cons:

The bed was too firm and too low to the ground, the room was too small for 2 people (booked a private room) and was freezing as the ac couldnt be controlled nor turned off.

Cons:

Worst hotel experience I've had. The room was humid and smelled of mold, the bathroom was dirty with mold growing on the shower curtain, the towels and curtains were filthy, the carpet was destroyed, and several lights didn't work.

I asked for housekeeping and for the lights to be repaired. Nobody came. No call back, no explanation, nothing.

At this price point in Chicago you have plenty of better options. Take one of them.

Pros:

El lugar est{a muy bien ubicado, la cama es super comoda y la habitaci{on es grande y comoda. Al menos la mía estaba cerca al baño, así que fue fácil. El baño estaba limpio. El wifi funciona bien, es rápido. Yo volvería, la ralación precio calidad es muy buena.

el agua caliente, a veces no funcionaba

Great location, small room
Pros:

Great location, close to the lake, magnificent mile, restaurants, etc. We walked everywhere! The bathroom looked renovated.

Would not recommend if you’re sensitive to smell
Cons:

There was an unpleasant smell in the room and the elevator. Somewhat reminded me of damp sweaty clothes. It didn’t feel clean and it felt like the dirt and smell was soaked in the carpet.
I would say that the hotel has potential and could use a bit more thoughtfulness, like adding a little bar or hooks on the wall near the sink for hand towels.
The staff at the reception were a bit rude and unbothered. Definitely not a pleasant and welcoming interaction.
However, we met a couple of other staff members and they were nice.

Worked for a quick mother/daughter getaway.
Pros:

This was a more affordable option with historic charm. Food and the drink I had from the bar were good. Fun crowd with a variety of visitors.

Cons:

Bar was extremely loud. We had to move to another area because the three people at the bar were so loud and the room probably needs some acoustic help to soften the echo.

Très bon emplacement. Bon rapport qualité prix pour le bar - restaurant

Cons:

Pas assez de lumière naturelle dans la chambre. Pas assez de lumière pour lire en général, y compris avec toutes les lumières allumées. Le service est d'ailleurs moyen. Le personnel a refusé de commander un taxi (sachez que on peut pas le faire soi même avec un numéro non américain...). J'ai failli rater le train.

Location was definitely the best thing. WiFi was also ok.

Cons:

Staff at night charged me for something they shouldn’t have, very sneaky. If I wouldn’t have checked my bank account I’d have missed it. Bathroom curtain was dirty, with mold. Carpets were also dirty and stained. Room maintenance could be improved.

Hotel com ótima localização, porém antigo, cômodos apertados e mal iluminados.
Pros:

A localização é excelente! Perto de supermercado, farmácias, restaurantes e dos principais pontos turísticos. Quando precisamos, a equipe nos atendeu prontamente.

Cons:

Achei o quarto e o banheiro muito escuros. Não conseguia me maquiar... não tem frigobar. A limpeza deixou muito a desejar. Ao lado da minha cama e o criado estavam empoeirados e sujos, tive que pedir que limpassem.
