Worth the cheap money at heart of downtown to stay, but the reception was a bit rude. Overall I give 7/10.
It was soooo cold, the heater didn’t work at all
I loved how close it was to everything I needed for my quick stay. I was also in the heart of the city, like a couple mins of a walk to the lake too!
I didn’t like the fact there is YEARS OF BUILD UP DUST I SEEN! I woke up with the worst allergy symptoms due to it, and it was hard to sleep due to my allergies. I also got a lil bumpy rash due to those dust mite allergies….
The location
This hotel is basically a scam. The price is outrageously high considering what you actually get. You are clearly paying only for the location, because the hotel itself is old, poorly maintained, and the staff is extremely unfriendly.
Communication is terrible. If you book through Booking.com, they never respond to messages or emails. Upon arrival, they take a $50 deposit from your credit card and assure you it will be refunded after check-out. However, they later charge your card without any explanation.
What makes it worse is that there is absolutely nothing they could reasonably charge extra for. There are no additional services, no minibar, and no extra amenities in the room. The rooms themselves are dirty, outdated, and neglected. We even found used socks left in the room and the bed sheets were torn, which is completely unacceptable for a hotel charging these prices.
Trying to contact the hotel afterward to ask about the charge is useless because they simply ignore all messages and emails.
I strongly recommend avoiding this hotel and looking for other options in the area that offer better prices, cleaner facilities, and much better customer service.
The location is great! The private room and bathroom are decent and it’s a nice place to stay. Super recommended it

Dionté was very helpful and friendly. Dionté showed a similar room to a friend I was travelling with before my booking, to ensure it was suitable for her. Neesha was so kind and friendly! She was most helpful and very accommodating as well. Dana was very patient, and arranged a late check out for the four of us.

Loved the character of the hotel
My lamp wasn’t working .. when I looked found a burnt out plug .. and a lot of debris behind my bed head!! The girl at reception was severely lacking in social skills at checkin and when I told her about the burnt plug .. and seemed put out that her phone time was interrupted.. she never looked up !!

El personal, parecía que le molestaba que estemos ahí. El hotel es super antiguo y anticuado. Había mugre por todos lados. La habitación es super chica e incomoda. Nada que ver con las fotos, no se guíen por eso.
