The hotel is 5 minute walk from the Sanduo Shopping District Station, which is the red line of the MRT, which I learned is the best metro line to be near. Zuoying High Speed Rail Station and Kaohsiung Main Station were easy and quick to get to and from. The room was clean and looked recently remodeled. The AC and water pressure/hot water were good.
Horrible Wi-Fi. They give you a code that is the same code for all the Wi-Fi's on the floor. They are named after nearby room numbers, all of which had full bars of strength. I would connect my laptop to one, the connection would keep dropping, so I'd quit that one and connect to another one, then that one's connection would drop, so I'd try another and it would work, and then drop. To be able to sleep at night, I always play tinnitus masking sounds on YouTube, but the Wi-Fi connection kept dropping, stopping the masking sounds and waking me up. My last 2 nights I gave up using the Wi-Fi altogether and used my iPhone's hotspot for my laptop, which used a lot of my data.
