The location, in the heart of Old Quebec, is fabulous. The staff, with whom I communicated about a number of issues by text and by phone, was very responsive, but I should have had to contact them so many times. Unfair for the staff to have to clean up what is a management issue.
I had requested a room on the top floor in the back of the hotel. When I got there, I was put into a room on the noisy front of the hotel. The staff was able to move me to the back of the hotel after two nights, so I had two and two, front and back. Also, the WiFi in the room in front was very weak. I complained about it several times. Both rooms were very dim. They need better lighting.
Def enjoyed the stay! very historical & quiet. Local to many shops & restaurants. Would highly recommend if visiting the area
The location of this hotel is great. Easy walking to all the tourist areas and restaurants within the old wall.However after a very warm day of walking in July, I arrived to my room on the third floor where the air conditioning was not working. Disappointed for sure. I called the hotel number and they sent someone over , it took about 15 minutes for his arrival. He confirmed the air conditioner was not working. My disappointment was with how the phone staff dealt with the problem, indicating to me that they only had one room left, but could not give me this room, until they speak with their supervisor and that there may be an additional charge. In the end, after over an hour of waiting, and checking circuit breakers, the new room was available at no additional charge. I believe the staff need to be versed on appropriate phrases so their customers do not feel they are the burden in this situation. Also , once settled in the new room, the television reception did not work. I informed the hotel staff, but I did not wish to wait for a technician.
The interior halls are not air conditioned either, so in the summer months this may pose a problem to some people. Not sure if I like a frontless front desk either. I ordered parking which was absolutely necessary. I would not have liked off site parking. Staying outside the walls at a more modern hotel with on-site parking appeals to me more.

Everything was wonderful and it was a good location. Left our car parked for the 3 days. Clean room, good amenities and attentive through text.

The property is beautifully appointed in period furnishings. The entrance is welcoming. The room was exceptional. The location in the city is amazing, close to all sites and dozens of shops and restaurants.
Main door and room doors are all keyed with electronic code, concierge is a phone call away.
