Beautiful Hotel

disappointing
Pros:

first, they use 4 digit codes for all doors, that being said the entry code worked fine, room code did not, had to make several calls to get right person for new code which worked. We unpacked then found out toilet was broken, would not operate. staff could not fix so changed our room for 1st nights of our 4 night stay expecting us to return to original room for last night. They gave us a key for new room no code which hindered housekeeping access(only 1 key ?) so roon never serviced all 3 days. We decided not to repack and move for just 1 night so checked out day early and they charged full room despite all issues. We will never see this hotel again

Lovely, cozy
Pros:

Such a quaint cozy spot right in the middle of Old Quebec. Easy to reach management as well that checked in daily. And city parking garage a short walk, if parking at hotel is full.

Very comfortable stay
Pros:

Fabulous location. Super quiet. Very nice linens.

Cons:

It’s always nice to have a live person at reception and this hotel does not have that. But they do have a phone and someone answers very quickly and addresses your questions efficiently.

Stay here if you love old world charm and a great location for the old city
Pros:

I liked the charming old style of the hotel, and comfortable bed, and the perfect location for Old Quebec.

Cons:

Check-in instructions for the room key pad could have been easier. Everything is automated, but it would have been nice to see at least 1 hotel staff at some point.

Tres bonne stay in old Quebec
Pros:

As soon as we walked into the Hotel Le Clos Saint-Louis we could feel the old city charm. The front room is elegant and inviting. Our room on the main floor was large and very clean. The sitting area was nice. The rain shower was really nice after a long day of visiting old town. The location is excellent being very close to everything we needed. It was nice to get up each morning and get a Nespresso in the room. A very nice touch was having the le Clos team contacting me each day to see if I needed any assistance. Overall it was an excellent stay!

Quebec City Adventure
Pros:

This was a birthday trip for my wife. We were very impressed with the hotel’s ambiance. It was centrally located to the main points of interests. Definitely gave an “The Old Country” feel. This area was visually stunning!

Beautiful historic hotel
Pros:

Lovely historic building with tons of style. Close to walk to good restaurants and the boardwalk above the St. Laurent River, and to the Plains of Abraham- excellent for walking and running. Be ready for stairs in the hotel. Shared kitchenette in basement. I didn’t meet any in-person staff, but online help was fast and good. Great place. Loved it!

Quebec’s history in a hotel, just stunning.
Pros:

The property itself was beautifully furnished and decorated. It was stunning. The facilities were high standard and the location was central.

Cons:

4 flights of stairs to our room which I struggled with. I believe you can request a lower floor but at the time of booking, I did not have a mobility problem.

Beautiful historic suite in the heart of old Quebec
Pros:

A beautiful suite with a spotless, luxury-antique aesthetic. The bed and A/C provided maximum comfort for sleeping. It’s wonderfully appointed, complete with a cozy hearth in the sitting room, large bathroom, and great adjustable lighting options.
