location, customer service was great - what I expected in a budget hotel

Cons:

The rooms themselves were clean, but passage ways were filthy. Breakfast - stale bread, fruit salad was brown and yoghurt and milk not kept cold

Pros:

We stayed at Ibis Budget Melbourne for one night and found it to be an ok option for a short stay. The check-in and registration process was easy and straightforward.

The location made it easy to get around Melbourne and access nearby shops, restaurants and transport.

The room itself was simple but comfortable and worked for what we needed for a single night stay after a full day and night out in the city.

Overall, it was a good value for a quick stop in Melbourne however would not stay more than over night!

The carpets between the elevators and the rooms are really really filthy
