Super cosy and relaxing
Pros:

Super luxurious as we had what would be considered a basic room. There’s nothing basic about it!
Not only that but the 12pm check out is great too

Cons:

Nothing. We had an issue connecting our phones to the TV but that was quickly resolved with staff

Very clean and modern - room was spacious and comfortable and access to spa and gym was great

Cons:

The gym is a little old for a 5 star hotel and the lifts were sometimes not responding to the key card

10/10- Hotel, the receptionist- Sarv
Pros:

From when I entered the hotel everything was 10/10. The receptionist that greeted me her name was Sarv and she was amazing. She made me feel so welcome and she was so nice. The hotel is amazing, not far from anything. I will be coming again!

Fabulous hotel and location.

We managed to book in just before their systems crashed, this left lots of queuing angry guests in the lobby to navigate around.

Amazing location, short walk to Shoreditch!
Pros:

Great location, 5 min walk from Old Street station. Just one change from Elizabeth line if coming from
Heathrow. Beautiful room, staff are great and I think for London reasonable for money. Easy 10 min walk to shoreditch - which has shopping, bars and restaurants. Will be back!!!

Pros:

Location. Gym. Swimming pool. Breakfast was okay.

Cons:

House keeping was poor. We stayed 12 days and on many occasions rooms were poorly done. A couple of times not made at all despite calling. Shower gels or hand gels missing, not enough towels etc. Clearly there is room for improvement here.

Lovely hotel but very slow check-in
Pros:

We booked 3 twin rooms and they were great, although the picture in 1102 was rather disturbing so we covered it with a towel. The breakfast was excellent. The location was good and the pool was nice

Cons:

The check-in was extremely slow then one of the rooms was given the wrong key. We checked in at 1pm and left our bags in one of the rooms. When we went to collect the keys later for the other two rooms, this also took ages.

Yatra Spa at Montcalm East
Pros:

A lovely underground oasis from the noise and stress of central London. It’s a great place just to relax, recharge & revitalise yourself with a bit of well earned pampering. The staff are friendly & highly professional. The facilities are spotlessly & well maintained. It’s a bit of a hidden gem only a stone’s throw from Old Street Tube Station. If you deserve a bit of pampering then a definitely recommend a visit!

Excellent hotel
Pros:

I had to abandon my previously-booked hotel as the A/C was broken on an extremely hot day. This hotel was wonderfully cool. They made great efforts to find a room for me- thanks especially to the female staff member who saw that I had no energy left for schlepping around London trying to find a room. Lovely bed, bathroom, and a proper Nespresso machine. The room was a cool oasis on a hot day. Decent gym. The delivery of earplugs for my family member was much appreciated. Swift and friendly room service. We didn't have breakfast. The area is very central, mostly felt safe. Would definitely return.
