Apart from taxi issues it was extremely enjoyable
Pros:

Clean, modern, everything works, gym, great breakfast

Cons:

Ordered an uber for €11. He turned up but cancelled then drove away. Hotel phoned me a taxi who had difficulty finding a straight forward address only 7 kilometres away. And he charged me €31! Would only take cash.

Very disappointing
Pros:

Another one I’d like to give half marks to…, but really couldn’t round up to 3.
First of all the positives - this is a clean and tidy hotel, with reasonable in room facilities, and a warm welcome.
However, location wise it leaves something to be desired. Although only 10 minutes from the station, our walk took us through Frankfurt’s red light District, my daughter got heckled on the way, and there were a number of drug users right outside. It says something that, when you arrive, you discover a sign telling you not to go left when you leave the hotel… this is obviously not their fault and I must also say that it wasn’t anywhere near as bad when we left on Monday morning, as when we arrived on Sunday evening…
The other think that was a big disappointment was the food. We arrived on Sunday evening, after a long journey with lots of delays, so really needed a good meal. It wasn’t. A conference was eating in the main area, so we were confined to high seats near the bar, and many of the dishes on the online menu weren’t available because it was ‘summer’ - which we couldn’t understand. We were told the pizza couldn’t be made vegetarian, as it just came from the freezer, and what we did have (burgers and pasta) were far worse than we could make at home. I really hope we just caught them on an off day.
