Don't stay there
Cons:

The staff were standing outside front door smoking when we arrived. The carpet was stapled down to the floor where it had been coming up. No shampoo or blow drier in rooms only hand soap. Traveling with pet and no area to walk dog. No coffee available in morning. Pots were empty. Police were called to motel just after we arrived. Had a feeling of rundown building and no one caring.

Cons:

The hallways and common areas were dirty. Seemed like there were permanent, low economic residents with dependency problems living at the hotel. People were living in their vehicles in the parking lot.

Painting Enclosed Hallways While Guests are Staying
Pros:

It's mid July 2026 and there's a crew painting walls and trim. There are fumes in the air while guests are staying here. If you have respiratory or other health issues, you should be aware that there is heavy duty painting going on right now in enclosed hallways.

Very good staff. They know the computer well and helped me find a room that met my needs.
Pros:

Great location. West of hwy101 in Wecoma neighborhood. Just 3 short blocks on small cottage lined streets to beach access. There is a renowned free (donations) garden just 1 block towards the beach access (see photo).

Cons:

Pass on the free coffee (watery)
