THE SOUND OF THE OCEAN
Pros:

We really enjoyed our stay at the Ocean Palms. 5-21 to 5-25-26
We were a little worried about parking, but never had a problem finding a spot. There are only 7 spots in the courtyard to park, very tight fit. However plenty of street parking all around the perimeter.
The rooms were clean and really all we needed.
The property is well maintained and very relaxing.
We really appreciated the little store they have onsite and the complimentary coffee and snacks in the morning.
You can literally hear the ocean you are so close.
Walking distance to shops and great restaurants.
We will be back!

Loved the grounds and the decor of my room.
Pros:

Great location, ocean view room was nicely decorated and view was very nice, hotel grounds nice and staff very friendly.

Cons:

Limited parking availability ☹️. Ocean view room faced the street and there was a lot of car and people noise. My last night was actually the only night where I didn’t hear people’s conversation and car noise.

Best hotel for a family reunion!
Pros:

We had the best time staying at the Ocean Palms Beach Resort! The hotel is the perfect location! A short walk to the beach and places to eat. The continental breakfast was just the right touch. The front desk employees were kind and very helpful with any questions we had. We loved gathering at the fire pit area for night to visit and chat as a family. We will for definitely stay here again!

We are already planning to visit again!

For my brother-in-laws 60th birthday surprise party my sister planned a stay at the Ocean Palms Beach Resort in Carlsbad. We loved it! The employees were young, professional and nice. The grounds are beautiful and luscious with lots of seating and fire pits. The rooms have improved since our last visit. We were actually upgraded to a one bedroom and loved it! Starbucks Pikes Peak coffee was available all day in the reception area (tea also) and for breakfast they offered fruit, juice and some prepackaged items. Powdered donuts are a real weakness of mine…Ocean Palms is a perfect place to meet up with friends and family not only because it is easy to socialize on the grounds but it is across the street from the beach and is very walkable to the shops and restaurants in Carlsbad.

Long time visitors
Pros:

We have been coming to this resort for over 8 years. The location is phenomenal and the employees are always kind and helpful. The rooms are decorated wonderfully and the fact there is a kitchen or kitchenette is spectacular. We love the "tiki" theme and the fire pits and outside seating is a wonderful place to just be.

La gentillesse et le professionnalisme dans la communication du personnel, le bon parking gratuit à proximité, la localisation centrale tout en étant au calme, le check-in avancé,, le spacieux des lieux, le souci de décoration, les informations sur la ville, la propreté, l'équipement complet, l'air conditionné, le lave-linge (payant), le café, l'occultation, l'insonorisation, la force du wifi, la vue, la terrasse...

Cons:

Les horaires de check-in, inacceptables tant elles sont tardives, qui tronquent 4 à 6 heures d'une nuitée.

L'absence de douchette.
