Hotel Koka – The sign says it all

The hotel’s entrance sign displays three stars — but only one of them is lit. As it turns out, that was the perfect metaphor for our entire stay.

Throughout our room and multiple areas of the hotel, including hallways, we found broken and loose floor tiles — a real hazard for slipping or cutting your feet. Traveling with my 9-year-old daughter, I specifically requested a rug to cover the damaged area and prevent an accident. The request was completely ignored. No response, no solution.

It’s not an overstatement to say that the state of this hotel poses a genuine safety risk to its guests. At the very least, I expected a simple request involving a child’s safety to be treated as a priority.

Not recommended.

Semester Skopje första gången.
Pros:

Läget var väldigt bra, de tog inte lång tid att gå till de centrala delarna av staden. Och den gamla basaren låg väldigt nära med ett stort utbud av restauranger och butiker. De tog inte lång tid att ta sig till hotellet från flygplatsen heller ca 25-35 min lite beroende på tid på dygnet.
Trevlig och serviceinriktad personal.

Cons:

Man fick nyckel till dörren istället för kort vilket är lite klumpigt kanske men inget stort problem.
Frukosten var ganska liten till utbudet. Fanns inte så mycket att välja på om man är van vid lite större eller dyrare hotell. Men de räckte till oss.
Sängarna var inte så bekväma som på lite dyrare hotell, men ändå ganska okej. Typ säng med enkel madrass.

Posizione, ampiezza della camera, colazione, letti comodi, staff disponibile.

Cons:

Manca qualche gancio per appendere le asciugamani, manca un cestino in camera, è presente solo in bagno.
