Comfortable and good food
Pros:

Location was great and obviously pride themselves on a rustic character and good food

Cons:

It was explained that the car park was not available during our stay and alternative parking was available close by (which it was) but nothing was mentioned about the early morning builders that would be working in the car park right outside our window.

Great place for a one night stay on the way to the west country.
Pros:

Nice old buildings with some character.
Rooms are away from the main bar and restaurant.

This is a real gem. Definitely recommend this accommodation for a delightful, unique and very comfortable experience

The unique old pub character, beautifully decorated and well equipped rooms, thoughtful little touches like the complimentary tipple, the popular pub and restaurant, the location in the centre of a historic village and the very helpful staff.

A lovely old inn with great facilities
Pros:

Another wonderful stay at this lovely inn. Great staff team, really comfortable bed and huge room at an excellent price. The car park is closed but alternative parking nearby is available at a reasonable rate. Great breakfast too!

Nice comfortable hotel but breakfast service could be better.
Pros:

The room size and good location of the hotel.

Cons:

The breakfast service was far too slow. We were told the chef had a problem doing our poached eggs! We also overheard a member of staff being told off.
