Look ultimately it’s a great, safe location and if I had chosen to stay there for a night or two without kids or the nee
Pros:

It’s a great spot especially for accessing QCB Stadium without being in amongst the nightclubs. Nice and close also to the cinemas and some lovely eateries. The car park is secure. The room we had did also have a washer and dryer which was great. The fridge wasn’t working on arrival and after a quick text to reception this was rectified immediately the next day.

Cons:

The beds are made up with three flat sheets and a duvet (uncovered). The duvets in our room were stained which doesn’t surprise me because the triple sheet system simply does not work unless the beds are professionally made every day - which defeats the purpose of self contained bookings. The dishwasher was gross inside and barely worked and it was clear that the dishes had been run through it and unpacked despite still having dirty residue on them. It’s clear the cleaning staff are doing the bare minimum - the outdoor verandah area was unswept and dirty on arrival and when we moved one of the beds to retrieve a toy that had rolled under there was a lot of dust and dirt under the bed. We washed our towels and mats every night we were there because there is one hanging rail in each bathroom meaning in Townsville’s beautiful humidity not much is drying. We would have loved to have relayed some of our concerns face to face but we saw someone at the reception only once in the whole 6 days we were there.

Overall, our stay was really good and we would recommend the apartments.
Pros:

There was everything there that we needed. The beds were very comfortable & linen very clean. The apartment was clean & airy, although the carpets need a shampoo. Location was fantastic. Parking was great & access very easy.

Cons:

Refrigerator was behind a broken door & it was very difficult to open. Washing machine was also very difficult to access as opening the lid was impeded by the dryer. Oven door very dirty. This feedback is mainly for the information of management & staff of Q Apartments Paddington.

The pool is iin a strange spot that doesn't get a lot of sun,, would have used it more if it was better situated
