Please note that the pool is available from Monday to Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. And on Saturdays and Sundays from 10:00 to 5:30.
For certain rates, the property reserves the right to request 50% of the total price of the reservation, which the client must make by bank transfer to the account that is indicated.
From Monday to Friday you can take CrossFit classes with schedules in the morning from 6 to 8 and in the afternoon from 4 until 7. Customers must book in advance to schedule the class.

The hotel is a tiny paradise surrounded by nature and wildlife. The rooms are spacious, there is cleaning service everyday and the breakfast is delicious. The staff is very welcoming and make you feel like part of their family

I absolutely loved my stay at Hotel Colores del Arenal and genuinely didn’t want to leave. It’s amazing value for money and I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.
The hotel is located about 15 minutes outside of town, which I actually really liked. The surrounding area has everything you need nearby including supermarkets, sodas, pharmacies, restaurants, and even a gym.
The grounds are beautiful and full of wildlife. We regularly saw a sloth mum and baby visiting the trees around the property which was such a special experience. Breakfast is served in a lovely pergola surrounded by trees next to the lake — such a peaceful and beautiful setting to start the day.
Breakfast itself was delicious, plentiful, and freshly made to order. The traditional breakfast was my favourite.
The staff honestly became like a second family during my stay. Every single person was so warm, friendly, and welcoming. They would chat with guests, help spot animals around the grounds, and even let us use binoculars to see wildlife up close.
The rooms were very comfortable with great air conditioning, reliable hot water, two double beds, and a desk. I also used the laundry service which was very convenient.
The onsite gym is basic, but you can still get a solid workout in with the equipment available. The staff mentioned they were planning upgrades and adding more machines. There’s also another gym just around the corner with heavier weights and machines for around 2500 colones per day.
The pool was another highlight — large, very clean, and the perfect temperature for cooling off after a hot day exploring.
I’m being very picky here because overall the stay was fantastic, but a proper desk chair instead of a stool would make working in the room more comfortable.
A full-length mirror in the room would also be a nice addition.

El hotel es comodisimo, las camas fenomenales.
El recinto es espectacular con árboles llenos de aves, iguanas, perezosos, ardillas etc.
Pasa por el recinto un río maravilloso y todo está lleno de vida.
Además tienen una piscina olímpica para las horas de calor y un gim de pesas.
Y para colmo hay un chico/guía con ojo de lince que te señala todos los animales para fotografiarlos.
Este hotel es un 10 y si pudiera me quedaría más días.
Seguro que volveré.

Step out of your room, dive into the pool, climb out of pool, cross the street and walk to the beach. Return, have a cold drink on your balcony and maybe BBQ something poolside for lunch.
Noise from road and bed. Both easily solvable issues that the fantastic hosts said they would implement. Not a deal breaker and to be expected with location but was noticeable.

The staff were amazing and the breakfast was delicious! They knew we wanted to see a sloth and went out of their way to help us… we got to see a mamma sloth and her baby!
