SCAM ALERT — DO NOT STAY HERE.
This hotel advertises beautiful photos of a beachside pool, jacuzzi, and private beach access, but fails to clearly disclose that guests have to pay an additional $40 fee just to use those amenities — even when booking a villa. The only “free” option is a run-down pool or basic beach access, which is extremely misleading compared to what’s shown online.
It feels like a complete money grab. We specifically booked this property because of the advertised amenities, only to find out after check-in that they’re locked behind extra charges. That information should be transparent before booking, not sprung on guests afterward.
Save your money and stay at Las Rocas Resort & Spa instead. Beautiful oceanfront pool and views included without all the hidden upcharges.

ESTO ES UNA ESTAFA — NO SE HOSPEDEN AQUÍ.
Este hotel anuncia fotos hermosas de una alberca frente al mar, jacuzzi y playa privada, pero no te dicen claramente que tienes que pagar $40 dólares extra para usar esas amenidades — incluso aunque reserves una villa. La única opción “gratis” es una alberca vieja y descuidada o acceso básico a la playa, lo cual es muy engañoso comparado con lo que muestran en línea.
Se siente como un completo robo y una manera de sacarle dinero a la gente. Reservamos este lugar específicamente por las amenidades que anuncian, y hasta después del check-in nos dijeron que había cargos extras para usarlas. Esa información debería ser transparente antes de reservar, no después.
Mejor váyanse a Las Rocas Resort & Spa. Tiene una alberca hermosa con vista al mar incluida, sin tantos cargos escondidos.
Qué decepción de lugar.
I can honestly say Gabby gave me the best body massage I’ve ever experienced. Her technique, professionalism, attention to detail, and ability to make you feel completely relaxed are on a whole different level. From the moment the session started, you could tell she truly cares about her work and her clients’ experience.
I walked in carrying so much tension and stress, and walked out feeling completely renewed. The pressure, flow, and overall experience were absolutely perfect. Gabby has an incredible gift and creates an environment that is both calming and welcoming.
If you are looking for someone who truly knows what they’re doing and delivers an unforgettable massage experience, I highly recommend Gabby. Easily 10/10.

La vista
Algunas áreas requieren mantenimiento
Me gusto mucho la vista al mar, pero el edificio pare is una caja,y el cuarto muy simple como motel barstool.

El club de playa sunio
Te cobran por usar las instalaciones del club de playa , aunque estés hospedado , la alberca del hotel, no es climatizada, es mas bien chapoteadero , el yacusi no sirve , las instalaciones son viejas. Si quieres usar la alberca, camastros ,yacusi, tienes que pagar ,50.00 dlls por persona extra , descontando 40.00 dlls por consumo obligatorio.

Una habitacion tenía mal olor
Location & being on the beach was great. We got there and receptionist told us that she was going to cancel the room cuz it wasn’t paid for yet? Then we still had to wait 30 minutes to get in room. Looked like toilet leaked all over so it was being mopped. Long, dark hair all over floors and wall. Found a vibrator under a blue chair that was left from prior guests. Nasty! Went to check out and guy kept our $20 cash for occidentals because there was a small amount of blood on sheet from my husband’s knee!? Guess they get you any way they can?
I rate my experience 5 of 5. We had a small problem and almost ruined our Mother’s Day weekend. the staff at Castillo Del Mar corrected it and went above and beyond our expectations. They made us feel welcomed and surpassed how they fixed the mistake. Great hotel amenities, food and pool club. Thank you for everything and everyone when helped us out. Gracias deparrte villa 31-B it was our first time and we will be back!!
