Lovely staff and great breakfast.
Staff couldn’t do enough. Proper period Inn where proper hospitality is alive and kicking. Not pretentious - just good accommodation, tasty fresh breakfast and a well kept cellar - run by friendly and capable staff.

Been here a few times really like it
My room was not in the main hotel, and unfortunately the guys next door weren't quiet till about 2am ,outside also was a trestle table ,I📛I had to listen to four guys going on about their marital status and who they had slept with within it

the breakfast was excellent/the room was fantastic. the staff were so friendly

Convenient location & the food tasted good. The bed was comfy.
The room was very hot and could have been hoovered better. The shower over the bath took ages to warm up. The sockets weren’t in convenient places. You couldn’t take food & drink to the room but they didn’t supply drinking water. The mirror in the bathroom was at a strange angle.
We loved the service of Simon so much, and it was such a cosy accommodation
