Excellent stopover stay especially with a dog
Pros:

Perfect if travelling with a dog as the pet friendly room was in a ground floor room with own entrance and a very large garden at the rear. Very comfortable room and beds.

Cons:

Motorbikes driving fast up and down the driveway during the evening.

Rundum gelungen!!!
Pros:

Das Hotel hat wie auch die Zimmer, das Restaurant und der Pub einen typischen britischen Charme.
Dies kam bei uns allen sehr gut an. Das Personal und die Besitzer waren sehr freundlich. Es hat alles gut geklappt.

Auch hat das Hotel einen sehr schönen Parkplatz mit Blick auf die Themse.

Einzig die Zeit für das Frühstück war in der Woche bis 8.30 Uhr etwas knapp bemessen.

Jederzeit gerne wieder!

Cons:

Wie oben schon erwähnt die Frühstücksbegrenzung auf 8.30 Uhr in der Woche.

Ansonsten gab es keine Kritikpunkte.

We really enjoyed our stay at The New Inn. We would definitely return if we visit Lechlade again.
Pros:

The New Inn is perfectly located in the centre of Lechlade. Although the room was quite small, it was large enough and quite comfortable with a nice view of the river at the back. There is ample parking, a really large garden on the river and plenty of benches outside. The staff were really helpful and friendly. The food in the restaurant was excellent.

Cons:

The room was very hot, but we were staying at the end of a heat-wave.... air conditioning would have been perfect, but it wasn't expected. There was a fan in the room but it was very small and not really sufficient. I very much doubt the room would be hot in normal circumstances.

Pros:

Nice place to stay whilst visiting The Cotswolds. Friendly staff, good food and comfortable accommodation.

Cons:

New duvet would be beneficial as a little stained but duvet covers clean. Toilet back cover broken.

The beds were comfortable and the location is great.

Cons:

I booked this hotel for one night a couple of months ago but they cancelled on us saying it was only available as a two night booking and it had been a mistake. I couldn't get anywhere else suitable as we were on a walking holiday so I waited and, sure enough, the room became available again for one night, only this time it was £40 extra. They didn't acknowledge this or offer the original price. In addition, there was a loud 21st birthday party going on which, when you read their website, all adds up to a bit of a poor description: "Whether you seek the peace and tranquility of a weekend break in rural surroundings, bed and breakfast as part of a business schedule or simply need a place to sleep during a journey, we can accommodate you."

Pros:

The hotel was very close to the two places we wanted to visit. And the riverside location was good. The staff were happy, helpful and just lovely. The food was very good. The shower was easy to use and very refreshing in the middle of a heatwave. We really enjoyed our stay.

Cons:

There was nothing we didn't like.

Prima verblijf om de Cotswolds te ondekken.....
Pros:

We hadden geen kamer, maar ons eigen huisje. Dat was erg leuk. Met buiten een picknicktafel waar je gebruik van kon maken. Erg leuk.
