Location is great and you’re able to walk downtown.

Cons:

We arrived on a Sunday and the hotel restaurant (which is quite good!) closed really early. We walked downtown to try to find something open and everything was closed. So not necessarily the fault of this place just a bad timing.

Costly in comparison to Golden Prestige.
Pros:

Location in town.
Nice bedding and bed
Staff helped as best they could. Very friendly.
Pub staff were great. Good service.

Cons:

The bathroom door is too close to toilet and makes the room uncomfortably small.

Not able to control the room temperature. The room was cold.
We were offered a plug in heater but only one available place to place it in room.
Blew a fuse using it. Extension cord provided but could not run on it and would cut out.
Air vent blowing from ceiling area was loud and cold. Blows onto one of the beds.

Fans running outside in lot were loud and the noise very noticeable in the room.

Microwave did not function properly.

great staff really highlight a nice hotel
Pros:

Checking in with Russ was friendly and welcoming! What a kindhearted, interesting person. My room was super clean thanks to wonderful housekeeping staff! it was cozy with a great view of the mountains. I used the sauna on and off all night- it was in great shape and was private in the basement without being scary. had a nice breakfast at Gabriella's with a super friendly fast informed helpful server.

Good place to stay if skiing Red Mnt.
Pros:

Very good location in downtown Rossland. Near several good restaurants. Kitchette w/fridge was useful and had utensils we needed for coffee.

Cons:

Noisy guest down the hall at 2am was annoying.

Pros:

Quiet at night and in the morning. I love the access too the basement ski storage and wax/tune bench directly from the parking. It's just so convenient and perfect for a skier on a road trip. The bed is very large new and comfortable. I love it here. And rossland continues to grow on me too! If only they had one of these hotels in Nelson ... Along with Ferraro's lol
Gabriella's downstairs is delicious, breakfast and dinner I absolutely recommend
