海が綺麗だった。

レストランからの帰りが夜になってホテルの玄関が閉まっており、部屋の鍵を使って何とか開けて入れたが、危うく閉め出されるところだったので事前にスタッフからの開け方の説明があれば良かったと思う。

More Than a Hotel – A Truly Memorable Isle of Wight Experience
Pros:

Our stay at Villa Rothsay was genuinely memorable. If you’re tired of anonymous, sterile chain hotels and want somewhere with real character, this is a wonderful choice.

The hotel is unique, full of charm and history, and set in one of the most beautiful locations on the Isle of Wight. It perfectly blends old-world grandeur with all the modern comforts and facilities you could need, making it both elegant and incredibly comfortable.

The customer service was exceptional. Margaret was an amazing host, and the whole team went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Nothing was too much trouble, and the warmth and personal attention made our stay feel very special. Margaret is also an absolute oracle when it comes to the history of the Isle of Wight and its rich yachting heritage. We thoroughly enjoyed picking her brains about the fascinating memorabilia, antiques and historical treasures displayed throughout the hotel, each with its own story and connection to the island’s past.

We especially appreciated the thoughtful layout of the family accommodation. The adjoining rooms were ideal for travelling with our 18-year-old son, giving us both privacy and the convenience of being connected.

Villa Rothsay offers something increasingly rare—a hotel with genuine personality, outstanding hospitality, and a genuine sense of history that enriches every moment of the stay. It felt far more personal and memorable than any modern, sterile hotel could ever be. We wouldn’t hesitate to return and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a truly special experience.

Villa Rothsay Hotel is a true gem, perfectly situated like a fairytale come to life. Waking up and enjoying a delicious breakfast amidst enchanting views makes you feel like you’re in another world.

The hostess—a warm and enthusiastic woman—makes your stay extra special with her genuine hospitality. Her attention to detail and personal touch ensure you feel right at home. The lady who prepares breakfast is also incredibly attentive, ensuring every meal is a delight.

Our room was a dream—spacious, comfortable, and boasting a breathtaking sea view. The sound of the waves and the view of the horizon made it the perfect place to relax and unwind.

In short, Villa Rothsay is not just a hotel, but an experience you won't want to miss. It is perfect for a romantic getaway or a relaxing weekend trip. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a little magic in their life! 🌊✨

Wonderful hotel in Cowes
Pros:

My husband and I had two nights at Villa Rothsey along with my Mother-in-Law, her partner and the dog! Villa Rothsey is absolutely charming and full of character. The rooms were spacious, clean and very comfortable with amazing views over the solent. We could sit on our balcony and watch the world go by for hours. The ambiance was so relaxing and the breakfast fabulous. Maggie looked after us perfectly, and nothing was too much trouble. We definitely plan to return.
