Convenient location for us
Staff were friendly
The bathroom was shocking, grout was filthy with dirt and mold, either use bleach or replace
Dirt around taps hair stuck back of the door
Shower curtain was very dirty at the bottom and creased.
Floor was coming away from the wall.
The bedroom was clean but needs a good tidy wallpaper coming away just needs a good overhaul
No WiFi or 5g or 4g, I needed to do work last night as I am self employed and haven't been able to
There was no signal on a few channels
Room was small and hot
We stopped to break a long journey up and do not feel rested.
Staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean, modern and comfortable. Also the hotel was very close to the A1 and well priced.
The toilet had a weak flush; the handle needed to be pumped several times for the flush to work properly.
It was simple, clean room, we came up north for the wedding so this location was perfect for the wedding venue
Central to our visit
Room was clean, bed comfortable, had a fan which was a welcome addition as was the warm weather. Staff were great and helpful. Great value for the price
Nothing
Tables were sticky
Not clean
Staff were great, excellent location for us
Rooms are a little tired
Location was expected, staff were friendly.
Room was quiet 👍
We booked a king but got a twin, room 11, so we moved beds together.
Bathroom room very very small and needs some mr muscle mould remover in shower!
Food wasnt over warm either supper or breakfast.
The location was amazing
The rooms had mould in and smelt awful. The food was awful
Having stayed there quite a few times & was very handy
Very poor Wi-Fi hit & miss at
Better Wi-Fi would benefit the the property very much
The staff are what redeem this place. The food is basic but good and having an evening meal is not expensive. The choice is good but it's just standard Hungry Horse pub grub. All staff were friendly and very helpful and are clearly the best feature of this very tired looking hotel
We had 2 rooms booked but had to share one bathroom the other wad virtually unusable as the woodwork was literally hanging off the bottom of the shower. The other was not as bad but the bathroom door was only held on with one hinge. Toilet seat was hanging off and it was so close to the wall you have to sit sideways! Neither shower had good water pressure or a decent shower head so washing shampoo out of your hair is not easy. One room was boiling hot but a fan was provided. The other room was cooler which was a good thing as the fan provided didn't work. All in all this is a very tired looking hotel and needs a complete refit! Definitely stayed in better places for less
It was well placed for my journey up north of the UK, and even though I arrived late in the morning due to road works, there was someone on duty to help me get sorted.
