Pros:

Everything was perfect! We had special requests and they made sure everything was set up before we arrived. Loved the location and the historic feel of the hotel made for a nice little romantic getaway.

Beautiful unique hotel in a great downtown location completely furnished with everything you need for a comfortable stay
Pros:

Great downtown location. It was more like an apartment with the full size kitchen, living room and separate bedroom. Comfy bed, well furnished kitchen and bathroom. Especially loved having a washer and dryer since we were on a road trip. Loved that they had a fresh bag of coffee for the coffee pot. Very friendly staff. Wish we could have stayed longer!

Cons:

Parking was about a block away but it was free and we could load and unload right by the front door. Parking was definitely not a deal breaker for us.

Pros:

Great location

Cons:

The AC unit can not function properly, was miserable under heat and high humidity and it got loud noises
Floors were astray and standing on it felt dizzy
Sofa bed was completely uncomfortable and dusty

Everything was perfect from arrival to the time we left! Very clean, secure, comfortable, beautiful hotel!

Everything was perfect! From the moment we arrived, staff greeted us and were so warm and friendly! The hotel is gorgeous! Our room-phenomenal! We will stay here for our future trips to the mountains! Perfect location, perfect place! Thank you to the staff again!!

Fantastic boutique hotel!
Pros:

Beautiful boutique hotel, within 5-10min walking distance of restaurants, bars, art galleries, and museums. The rooms are spacious and elegantly decorated, with well-supplied kitchens. It felt like the comfort of a standard hotel, but with the personal touch of a small venture. We would definitely stay there again!

A fantastic home away from home where we were treated well.
Pros:

We loved the suite. There was plenty of space and it was nicely furnished. The location was perfect - being near great restaurants and lounges. The best of all was the staff members who were knowledgeable and personable. We really enjoyed chatting particularly with the evening staff and were thankful for suggestions and assistance.

Cons:

Light switches were sometimes confusing - but that was on us. The bedroom was small, but the living room was large, which is where we hung out.

Absolutely wonderful boutique experience with modernized amenities.
Pros:

Loved the room - lots of character, spacious, had everything we needed and more. The amenities were wonderful and the staff were lovely. They even organized in-room couples massage, one of the best massages I’ve ever had! Perfect spot for being in central/downtown Asheville.

Cons:

One small thing, the location being next to a street with very early trash/recycling pickup. We’d be woken by the beeping of trucks and dumping of bottles, sometimes as early as 6:30 in the morning (pretty loud, even with white noise and earplugs). Not something the hotel can control though, and the central location is so convenient, so just something to be aware of.
