Pour la chambre : il y a peu de prises de courant près des tables de chevet, il n'y a pas de brosse pour les toilettes, le robinet de la douche fuit
Pour l'ambiance : c'est un point de vue personnel mais selon moi, il faut bien choisir entre être un bar ou un hôtel
Car il était impossible de commencer à se coucher avant 23h car il y a beaucoup trop de bruit à cause des extérieurs du bar surtout avec le simple vitrage. La première nuit (mardi soir) cela pouvait encore aller, la deuxième nuit (mercredi soir) les clients du bar ont carrément sorti un mégaphone pour communiquer entre eux, je pense que ce n' est pas l'appareil le plus adapté pour un hôtel, et la troisième nuit (jeudi soir) nous avons fait le choix de rentrer après 23h
Enfin l'équipe est tout de même au top car à 23h pile il n'y a plus un bruit, ils sont hyper efficaces !
Attention pas de parking simplifié sur place (il faut prévoir un budget pour se garer) mais cela doit être partout de la même manière sur Bristol

The room they gave me was very small. No cupboard space, wardrobe, drawers at all. Not evena suitcase stand though there was little space for one. The carpet was stained. The TV did not work. There was only one socket in the room at floor level so no good for phone. No bedside table for phone/books/glasses.

Found the accommodation slightly outdated and could do with spruce up but I’d still score it 3.5 out of 5

Shower gel dispenser was empty, TV didn't work,

The Hotel needs a lift. We had a case each to carry upstairs and these do get heavy. It also limits the type of guest you are attracting.

room was a bit scruffy, There was a lot of noise from pub crowd downstairs and outside in the street. The soap dispensers were poorly designed and had very little soap in them.

I was given 2 rooms during the stay. The first room had a shower with a broken riser rail which caused the shower head to be positioned at waist height and in addition the main light was insufficient to work by and was flickering, so after raising this issue with reception, I was moved to a different room. However, this room didn't have hot water so I had to miss out on a shower for the second day. On reporting this the staff did not apologise - simply said - we'll check the boiler. I was then told that the boiler was OK and someone else must have been having a shower at the same time and 'run down the boiler'. This is quite frankly ridiculous that a hotel dos not have enough water for a hot shower at 6am. At breakfast I had vegetarian cooked breakfast. It was clear that the beans had been microwaved in the container on the plate and of the two sausages one was OK but the other was rock hard and I could knock it on the table like a drumstick. This happens when this type of food has been over-microwaved - so I suspect the second sausage had been reheated - really unacceptable food hygiene practice.

No parking.

Carpet could do with replacing but honestly it was a decent budget room and I slept well

Separate cold and hot water tap in the bathroom sink.
