Spent a pleasant weekend staying at the Windmill and with my family.
Pros:

Convenient, value for money, plenty of parking and good evening meals. Very clean and comfortable bed and bedding. Curtains were clean and looked new. Staff friendly and very helpful.

Cons:

It could do with some TLC on carpets ( threadbare in places) and doors - my room entrance door had a broken inside lock so had a chain instead. The toilet seat wasn’t fitted properly so it slipped. Would benefit from a higher handle to hold onto in the shower.

A great budget stay
Pros:

Brilliant carvery, great breakfast, lovely room, shower pressure was exceptionally good!!
We particularly enjoyed watching the rabbits playing in the beer garden.

Cons:

Corridor carpet was a little threadbare. No sink plug and sink needed a bit of an overhaul, but overall was all as expected for the fantastic price.

Won't be back.
Pros:

Outdoor seating for bar and restaurant with good umbrellas

Cons:

Room far too hot with no active ventilation. Windows open onto very noisy road. Poor internal sound ventilation. Leaking hot tap. Shower head rail coming off wall. Hole in carpet beneath clothes rack. Flies on food in restaurant. Sticky tables after wiping. Cutlery unclean. Breakfast sausages burnt on one side and white on all others. Toast brown on one side and white on the other. Staff generally seem resigned and helpless when concern expressed. (And you DEFINITELY need better beers ... no bitter?!)

Terrible and a complete waste of money
Pros:

The food and the restaurant were very good

Cons:

The room was dirty. No tea or coffee was left in the room went to reception to get some and was only given two tea bags no milk or sugar
