A notch above the standard Japanese hotel
Pros:

It was a six minute walk to the train station.
My room was quiet, even though the hotel is located on the train tracks
The staff was very pleasant.
The breakfast was very good.
The room lighting was nice and I would say it was a notch above a standard Japanese business hotel.

Cons:

There was no coffee in the room and there was no coffee in the amenities bar, but Lawson is right down the street and so is 711.
As an American, I’m always uncomfortable with the bathroom/Ofuro occupying an entire room. The toilet was on the opposite side of the hallway.
