There was nothing to dislike
The location of the Woodlands Lodge Hotel was superb.
The staff were absolutely fantastic and so friendly.
There are some great paintings dotted about the property that make you giggle.
The property is slightly shabby and could do with updating, if it wasn’t for the staff and location I’d have been very disappointed.
The atmosphere was pleasant and comfortable, the bar and restaurant were good. Staff were helpful when my mother in law had a fall.
The floor in room 6 was very hot and room 7 was cold. The lights in the hall did not stay on long enough and my mother in law lost her balance and fell.
Breakfast was cook to perfection and location was excellent if we had better weather we would have walk through the garden to the gate to the New Forest. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
Am a bit unsteady on my feet sometimes and would have loved to have a grab rail in the shower.
The ladies were lovely and very friendly and helpful, and the cooked breakfast was nice. Could do with a few more additions to accompany the cereals like rasberry’s and other fresh berries. Very sparce choices if you didn’t enjoy a cooked breakfast. Bed was comfy too.
A very tired hotel, and had dirty carpets and dirty windows almost as if they have never been cleaned. They had paper covering a boiler of some sort. Room was disappointing for a deluxe room, not sure if it has ever been cleaned thoroughly either as found a piece of someone’s clothing left behind the bed. Expensive for the state of the hotel, would not be returning.
It was absolutely beautiful, everything was amazing about it . Would definitely go again
Nothing , there’s nothing to not like .
Breakfast was well presented and good quality ingredients. Unfortunately I found a long piece of plastic in my Eggs Royale though..
Sound proofing. Could hear noises clearly from room above no 14 particularly noisy shower
Found dog hairs on my cloths laid over a chair.
No WiFi in room
God frokost, eksellent beliggenhet.
Problem med varmtvannstanken vi ikke ble fortalt om.
A lovely place to stay in the New Forest. The staff were very accommodating with storing our bikes.
The meal wasn’t great value for money but the staff were wonderful so we’re not complaining.
We liked the garden, the dinner and also the board games offered by the hotel. Staff was very nice.
Portable bed was not great.
We really liked the location. It was quiet and within walking distance of walking trails through the New Forest. We drove easily to Lymington, Brockenhurst, Lyndhurst and Ashurst. There were lots of options for good food in the local area.
Staff were easygoing and friendly.
They were in the process of renovating the property which we were not informed of. This involved drilling. Fortunately we were up and out most of the time, but our corridor had bare boards.
We visited during the May heatwave and were given a fan on request.
Breakfast was reasonably priced but there were no croissants, but cereal or toast, yogurt and fresh fruit. We didn’t have the cooked breakfast.
Lovely location
It was tired, old and dirty. The rooms were desperately in need of an update. Bedding linen poor, bathrooms barely functional and carpets dirty.
Room was small but very clean. Very Good Breakfast cooked to order. Friendly staff
The location is perfect for a quiet getaway
It’s starting to look a bit tired & needs work
No hot water and building works whilst staying.
No compensation was offered because we booked through Booking.com. Not sure why this is. Sounds like a convenient excuse
