Lovely building and the views.
Basic info missing on checkin.. internet password, door entry code. We had an issue with the remote control missing in our room, it would have been good to have a direct number to call for issues. The bar staff / manager seems to be not involved in the running of the hotel side of things. However the issue was resolved very quickly once we obtained a direct number for the hotel manager. We were very happy with how the issue was resolved.
It was in a good location for the event we were attending, the room was clean, it had tea and coffee facilities
The mattress was very soft, which wasn’t good for my back. The room was very warm even with the radiator turned off, the decor was very dated, the room definitely could do with an update as could the hotel in general
Room nice view ,very clean and had everything in it to cover short stay 100% recommend. Woman on reception went extra mile in helping out on several things.
Not much more I can say covered all good aspects above.
