Die Lage ist schön und die Qualität des Restaurants ist sehr gut

Cons:

Für fast 150 Euro war das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis schlecht. Wir wollten WM schauen, Fernseher funktionierte nicht. Es war heiß, keine Klimaanlage. Die Staubschicht auf diversen Ausrüstungsgegenständen war beachtlich und das Zimmer sah definitiv nicht nach 150 Euro aus.

Tolle Aussicht, sehr gutes Frühstück

Cons:

Der Anfahrtsweg ist eng u. hinderlich bei Gegenverkehr, die Dusche war nur kalt oder heiss-das hat sich auch nach einer Reklamation nicht geändert, mein Zimmer war mit Accessoires für einen Hund ausgestattet.

Relaxing weekend in Bayern with easy hiking all around
Pros:

A lovely hotel that sits on hillside behind Ettal Kloster. Brilliant views! Attentive wait staff at nice restaurant and a spacious room, with bleating sheep (in a good way) for our alarm clock. :-) We rented a double superior room and it was very comfortable and spacious with a balcony facing the back hillside and walking paths. Krups Coffee, gratis water and mini fridge with snacks available. This was a family dog friendly hotel that made my golden retriever (and us) happy. We were also able to check-in early for a reasonable fee of euro 35. It is a short walk downhill to Ettal and a short drive (or a long walk) to Oberammergau. This area is lovely for easy hiking, good food and great beer. Linderhof Castle nearby.

Cons:

Nothing to dislike. :-)

Charming, quiet getaway, we really liked this place!
Pros:

It's a charming, unique hotel that is both traditional and modern. Beautiful wood decor inside and out, with a beautiful view over Ettal and the monastery. Modern clean rooms with exposed beams, and a large, well-designed sauna complex. Wonderful outdoor space with loungers to enjoy the views, a firepit, and a large dining terrace with a good restaurant on site. Nice, large breakfast! It was an excellent base for exploring the area!

Cons:

Nothing really. Standard double room was a bit small, but they provide the room sizes on the booking page, so you know what to expect. And we did not come to sit in the room the whole time. We had a really good stay.
