The location is excellent and the staff are superb.
Not up to expectations cereal not we wanted yogurts low only oranges in fruit bowl pastries not much
Choice this was at 8.30
Grateful to the male receptionist who understood why a wonan travelling alone in a hear wave might not want the allocated ground floor room with casement windows open to passers-by. Very odd that it had been booked for a single woman really ...
Being allocated a dark ground floor room with windows that opened wide enough to allow passers by to slip in.
Beautiful building, decor and historic memorabilia was superb!
Ground floor room window wasn’t fully sealed when closed, as if attempts had been made to force open from outside! Forgot to mention to front desk on departure. Everything was fantastic generally.
Lovely period property in a central location
Nothing

Convenience of position
Room 409
Small and so hot and stuffy.
Windows wide all night and fan going full speed.
Only way to reduce temp was to wedge door open. Still bad sleep.
Staff tried to relocate but no. Bathroom basin broken and far too small, not proper basin for face washing.
Great location - very central - pleasant restaurant
No air conditioning in the rooms, which were unbearable in a heatwave. The summer heatwaves are only going to get worse… they need to deal with it and get air conditioning installed. Even when it cooled down outside, the room was unbearable
Perfect location. Lovely room. Lovely decor. Great staff. Couldn’t fault anything
Nothing.
It was lovely neat and tidy staff fantastic
Nothing everything lovely
Comfy room, wonderful staff, great location, loved the dining room & their Sunday roast and wonderful breakfast
It was in a good position. The staff were very helpful. The decor was nice.
The room was small, on the second floor and the window did not open. It was hot, stuffy and unpleasant. The breakfast was mediocre- nasty bread and low fat yoghurt. There was no parking. Given the price it was very disappointing.
Service and food was really good, couldn't fault it
Central location in Bakewell is busy because it is popular
The car park is very small due to it's location and might be a problem if the hotel is full
Food was great. The rooms were comfortable. Management was very helpful. One of the housekeepers helped us locate some items in the town we needed. Great overall.
The internet connection to the room failed. Not really the hotel's fault, but it did hamper some things we needed to get completed for our trip.
Location beautiful restaurant and rooms
Nothing
