Paula, Jay and the rest of the staff were very welcoming. They treated the four of us like VIPs. The food and drinks were exceptionally delicious and beautiful. We will be back for the 3rd of July party. Can’t wait to celebrate at the Knickerbocker Hotel.
Lovely hotel, great staff would highly recommend

Location right on the top of time square, good access to subway
There was limited natural light, room was overlooked by offices only 20 feet away. No mini bar, no ability to make tea of coffee in the room.
The hotel is right at Time Square next to NY Public Library, it is close to 5th Ave shopping and lots great restaurants nearby. The hotel is in a historical building and inside was updated nicely. We stayed 5 nights. The breakfast is great and Gania was excellent taking care of us every morning. The room is decent size and the bed is comfortable; a few more furniture could make the stay more convenient, such as a shelf underneath the nightstand and a shelf under the sink. The rooftop bar is nice with good service and the gym is very well equiped; there is a separate yoga room that I wish I knew earlier. The service at the reception desk was not great based on our experiences. The lady checked us in was quite cold without any smile throughout the process. The second day we asked for availability of an upgrade and the receptionist said he would check and call us back but we never get the call. It is fine if the upgrade is not available but a call would be nice for a hotel this class. Overall we enjoyed the stay especially for the location of the hotel. It would a great hotel with some improvements.
Amazing hotel facilities, with beautiful restaurant and rooftop bar. The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. Great location too!
Amazing front desk, dining room, rooftop staff.
The rooms are wonderful.
We extended the stay one more night.
The Knickbocker is truly accommodating.
I'll definitely be back, over and over again
Thank you Paola!
Our stay was good, but not as great as some of the other people who have left reviews. We made mention that we were in town to celebrate a birthday via our American Express messaging system asking what was available to help celebrate. We received a message back but it wasn’t in regards to the request. Breakfast buffet was okay but we preferred ordering off the menu. We had lunch there as well. It was very good. Housekeeping did a great job. The lobby feels a bit chaotic at times. When we arrived at check in, there were no fewer than 40 bags in the lobby(which isn’t large to begin with) near the front desk. The resident fee of $45 attached to the nightly rate, seems like a blatant money grab. Free local and long distance calls when everyone has a cell phone doesn’t make a lot of sense. Paying for access to the gym, water in the room and WiFi at $45 plus tax is a bit high. Overall, good stay but not as great of an experience as other reviewers here have had.
Excellent location for all the sites. Times Square, ESB, Central Park and 2 minutes walk to the subway. Beautiful building, staff all very welcoming. We had a brilliant room on the 14th floor overlooking Times Square. The rooms were clean and plenty of storage. Even though we were in Times Square the noise level was very low certainly didn’t disturb us. Breakfast available (buffet was very good) restaurant and roof top bar. Special thanks to Gania who was lovely at breakfast and made us feel very welcome. Also Jimmy who secured us a taxi for our homeward journey when all roads were closing due to the World Cup. Our first visit to New York and hopefully not our last to the Knickerbocker.
Pros - great engaged friendly helpful staff from doorman to mgrs. Overall The Knick has a luxury feel
Upgraded my room to larger one.A generous for NYC 385 sq ft on an upper floor with a view.
Room was clean and modern. Large bathroom, one sink but an 8 foot long counter. BIG shower seperate toilet area. Actual drawers ( not common of late even in better hotels) and lots of space to unpack. Turn down svc is a nice upgrade.
4th floor restaurant for bkfst was bright, modern and wait staff was on point and upbeat.
Rooftop bar is a fun experience
Cons - you have to WANT to be in the madness of the nerve center of the universe-Times Square. Once in the hotel all is serene. Outside is…everything!
Minor issue with TV. It’s made to swing out so you can view it from the bed but it hits and has damaged the wall behind it in several places. Couch had a stain on it.
Good value for NYC. I will look forward to coming back to The Knickerbocker.
Amazing staff and beautiful hotel!
Very nice hotel, friendly staff and helpful always smiling to guests,
Special thanks to GANIA
The Knickerbocker was a wonderful place to stay. It was a perfect location from Times Square. The staff was friendly. The rooms were clean. The food was great and we were very comfortable.
Very clean room and facilities, great location
Bed a little too hard and no fridge in room
The location of the hotel was fantastic. Close to everything but still felt tucked away from all the business. Staff were friendly, rooms were comfortable and service was excellent.
