The breakfast selection was poor and not value for money. The location was not central therefore tram or taxi
The room view was poor and we were put in the annexe and there where no wardrobes for hanging clothes
So clean and so comfortable
Nothing
Room was very spacious and clean. Bed was really comfortable and location was great
We got back from our night out, looked out the window and we could see straight into coppers outdoor area, hadn’t realised what it was during the day. The music was absolutely blaring, I can’t believe they even have hotel rooms on offer with that level of noise disturbance. Luckily we were drunk so didn’t affect us too much but if this was meant to be a relaxing night away chilling in the room it would have been a different story.
It was mid heat wave in Dublin and we went to use the pool to find it was heated. I know the dean has heated pools normally but it was actually disgusting to get into when it was so hot outside. Such a pity, I was enjoying a cooling dip during the heat.
Légèrement en dehors des zones touristiques
secteur calme
hôtel moderne
nombreux équipements disponibles personnel adorable
Piscine extérieure chauffée super agréable
De devoir repartir !
Great gym - sauna was good too but needs to have a cold shower or a cold plunge.
Great location right by the Luas and central
Very small rooms for the price
The decor was quirky and to my liking. Sophie’s restaurant was excellent with great setting, very friendly staff & superb food.
The facilities in the room were not of the 4 star quality that I was expecting. There were also some issues with the cleanliness of the room. Inadequate drawers and hanging space meant we lived out of suitcases. The cups for tea & coffee were paper. There were no ironing facilities in the room. The rooms were not made up or replenished unless you asked. The bed was comfortable with quality bedding. Overall, the experience was not 4 star and definitely not value for money. With so much choice in Dublin, there was nothing about The Dean that would make me want to stay again.
Stayed many times. Sometimes on the pricey side but I got a really good deal on this trip.
Everything was great.
