Fantastisch!
Pros:

Het uitzicht was adembenemend. We zaten helemaal boven. Bloedheet, maar het uitzicht was het waard.
Er stond een goede waaier en de gordijnen waren netjes gesloten om de zon buiten te houden.

Cons:

Er stond een balkon bij de beschrijving maar dat is gewoon een hekje voor een raam. Voor ons geen probleem verder.

Beautiful hotel in great location
Pros:

Fantastic location and large room. We booked a lake view standard and were given a room with double balcony and double doors for more cool air during hot weather. Terrific greeting and reception and nothing too difficult. Easy walk from station. Bed was king and wonderful.

Montreux getting ready for annual Jazz Festival so set up noise. On main Lake front road so expect noise from traffic, people and restaurants but you expect that if you want the convenience and the view

Super cool hotel with nice staff, but not in hot summer season.
Pros:

I will start with the good things about the hotel.
The hotel staff from reception is super friendly and helpful whenever you need them. All the other staff are also very friendly. The rooms are very clean and designed for maximum comfort. The location in Montreux is ideal — it's really in the center of the city, close to the beach area and the train station. There are a lot of restaurants nearby. There is also a very safe and nice underground car park very close by.

Cons:

However, if you are planning to visit in the hot summer months when the temperature is above 30 degrees, I would recommend finding another hotel with air conditioning because it's simply impossible to stay there. The room has a ventilator, but it doesn't help at all. We stayed there for two nights and couldn't sleep at all. During the day, you can't stay in the room because it's so hot. We left the hotel completely exhausted after two nights. A small fridge could be also ver helpful to have a cold water. It was also not there.
In the hotel description, it was mentioned that there is no air conditioning and fridge in the rooms, which was correct. However, we didn't think it would be so difficult to stay for two nights, so we took a risk. Later, we realized it was a mistake.
Any other season would be ideal, but not during the hot summer.
Our advice to the hotel owner is to install air conditioning in each room. Even a small unit would suffice. We will never come back to this hotel in the same season. We think that any other guests who visit the hotel in the same season will never come back. It's very unfortunate.
We normally never write reviews like this, We are really sorry to write this, but it is meant to help hotel itself and future guests in this season.

Pros:

Die Lage des Hotels ist super, das Frühstück war lecker und das Personal an der Rezeption sowie das Reinigungspersonal waren sehr freundlich und Hilfsbereit.

Cons:

In unserem Zimmer hat es nach Zigarettenrauch gerochen und es gab einige Verschleissspuren (vor allem Flecken und Striemen an den Wänden)

Niestety tych wysokich temperaturach ok 37 *C , jeden wiatrak nie jest w stanie nawet w nocy ochłodzić całego pokoju , ponieważ w budynku nie ma klimatyzacji ,

Les chambres sont vétustes!!!

Bien situé !

Cons:

À fuir, surtout en été. Il fait tellement chaud dans la chambre, et il n’y a qu’un ventilateur qui ne sert absolument à rien. Les couloirs, c’est encore pire : il y fait une chaleur étouffante. En plus, l’intérieur est vieux et mériterait d’être rénové.

Par rapport au prix, honnêtement, c’est beaucoup trop cher pour l’emplacement. Je trouve que ça ne vaut vraiment pas le coup.

No air conditioning. The room was very very hot.
The shower head was not working so it was impossible to take a shower. Even if we spoke with the reception, nobody came to fix it.

Das Zimmer hat unsere Erwartungen erfüllt

Es liegt super zentral und ist sehr gut zu finden.

Cons:

Es war an dem Tag sehr heiß. Leider hatte das Zimmer keine Klimaanlage.
