The West Park Hotel

Great location, the hotel was beautifully decorated and the breakfast & evening meal were delicious. The staff were friendly and efficient. We really enjoyed our stay.

The hotel is in a good location, away from the centre of Harrogate but an easy 5-10 minute walk to all the shops, bars and restaurants. We had a nice big room, nicely furnished and with a nice, big bathroom. There was a small balcony with a table and chair. All the staff were friendly and helpful. The are good cooked options for breakfast and a reasonable buffet.

There is not a car park at the hotel but there is a big public car park at the back of the hotel which is easily accessed from the hotel. There is plenty of street parking nearby but it's chargeable and is only for up to 4 hours. Most of the car parks and parking places use an app called AppyParking and this is vey useful as you only get charged when you leave and only for the time you've been parked.

What a hidden gem of a hotel this is! Absolutely loved our stay here, the rooms are clean and luxurious and all the staff are great! All super friendly and the rooms have air conditioning!
Another huge perk! Breakfast is great too, lovely service from the wonderful Augustina every morning. Thank you to Augustina and the breakfast chef, Carlos for a lovely shakshuka! We will be back for sure and wouldn't even hesitate to look at any other hotels in the area, no one can compete with the high levels of this hotel! Highly recommend to all, you wont be disappointed!

Great, individual boutique hotel and restaurant situated by the stray in Harrogate.

The staff team are always welcoming, relaxed, professional and attentive.

We chose the 3 course set menu for lunch. Overall a good choice and great value for money. Just a couple of minor tweaks would make it perfect … The salad needs some dressing and the profiteroles need something to complete the dish which was a disappointing, pre-packed, rather than homemade desert.

Stayed last week 2 nights - been recommended by a friend who always stays in a suite front facing - we stayed in a ‘Deluxe’ room 212 pretty average / small / disappointing with a dated bathroom - luckily we are fairly fit and could climb into a high bath to access the shower - wouldn’t stay again

We have stayed many times in a deluxe double room and have always had a good stay. However after our recent stay we will not consider West Park for any future Harrogate stays, which is unfortunate as we often visit Harrogate. This time the room did not meet our expectations. Every single wall in the room was covered in black marks, the room, overall the room did not match the cleanliness of previous stays, overlooked the multi storey carpark and the corridor leading to our room smelt strongly of vomit, We informed the reception and she confirmed that a guest had been sick the previous day. Obviously the carpet had not been cleaned to a standard to remove the smell. The smell remained on the day of our departure. We will not risk the expense of staying at your hotel again, weekends away are a treat, this time we were left disappointed and will choose to stay elsewhere.

Great location, 10 min stroll to nearest bars and shops. Hotel is beautiful, room small but comfortable, comfy big bed, kettle, coffee machine, iron, hairdryer, air con, complementary tea,milk,biscuits,shampoo conditioner and gel. Fab shower. Excellent breakfast choice.
