Check-in was smooth and welcoming thanks to Kaycee from the Front Office, setting a great tone from the start. Farah, the Chief Concierge, was also very helpful and approachable.

The Club Lounge was a highlight. Javier, the Assistant Club Manager, truly stood out… he takes the time to get to know his guests and has a natural way of anticipating your needs even before you ask. His warm personality, attentiveness, and genuine hospitality made the experience feel more personal and memorable.

We also truly liked how family-friendly the hotel is. Traveling with a little one felt easy and comfortable, and we never felt out of place, something we really value.

Would definitely come back. 🌟

Our family had lunch on 22 June 2026 at Beach Road Kitchen.
My wife was invited by Chef Wilson and Lu to experience pizza baking at JW Marriott Hotel Singapore South Beach, and she had a wonderful time learning from the team.
In addition, the restaurant team led by Darren was extremely thoughtful in arranging our dining experience, especially with the lovely birthday cake arrangement for me.
Lastly, Suezana, who attended to our table, made a special effort to ensure we were well taken care of throughout the meal.
Kudos to the entire team at JW Marriott Hotel Singapore South Beach for delivering such a memorable and warm experience.

My stay at JW Marriott Singapore South Beach was nothing short of exceptional, and it became one of the most memorable birthday celebrations I have ever had.
I would like to extend my heartfelt appreciation to Fiona Gan, VIP Services Manager, and Michelle from Guest Relations. They went above and beyond to ensure that my birthday was special, creating thoughtful moments that brought me great joy and made the occasion unforgettable.

The hotel itself is beautiful, with excellent facilities and outstanding service throughout, but it was Fiona and Michelle who transformed a wonderful stay into an extraordinary one. I look forward to returning and creating more cherished memories at this remarkable hotel.

We absolutely loved the hotel facilities, service, and the wonderful people. This was our first staycation at the hotel, and both my friend and I were very impressed by the beautiful ambiance, excellent service, and the friendliness of all the staff.
We were celebrating my friend's birthday during this stay, and the hotel made it truly special. When we entered the room, we were pleasantly surprised to find a birthday cake, balloons, and a heartfelt birthday message written on the mirror with lovely drawings. It was such a thoughtful and unexpected gesture.
This was an unforgettable birthday staycation, and we sincerely appreciate the effort made by the hotel team to make the celebration so memorable. We would especially like to thank Michelle and the Guest Relations team for the beautiful decorations and thoughtful arrangements. Their attention to detail made the celebration even more special and meaningful.

We stayed in a suite for this stay. Suites come with club benefits and in this case, we enjoyed afternoon tea, evening canapes at the club lounge on level 2 and breakfast at Beach Road Kitchen on level 1.

There are several suite options and we were given a bay view suite on a high floor. This suite is at the corner closer to the office tower but as it overlooks suntec convention centre we enjoy the bay view.

Hotel is splendidly maintained with a pleasant Aromatherapy Associates scent. In the past, suites were provided with larger tubes of bath amenities but they have since phased over to bottles.

This was our 2nd stay in this specific room and it was a lovely experience.

First Time Stay

Background : I am always a Marriott Tang person. Been there countless time maybe due to its vibrant location, but this time, my spouse asked me to change to another hotel. So I decided to book JW. It was a tiring 7 days ordeal in Bali and we flew to Singapore to have an in-house holiday before flying home to start work on the 11th June.

Location : JW is located at the very heart of the city, a 10mins comfortable walk to Merlion and the bay area. It is also located on top of Esplanade MRT and also all the underground walkway to MRT City Hall. From Changi, we disembark at City Hall MRT and walk underground to the hotel. The hotel is just excellently located, suitable for leisure and business traveler alike. There are quite a few bars around but it is just a stone throw away from Suntec Shopping centre. Love the convenience it offers.

Check In : When I was in Bali, I did mobile check in from the apps. I texted JW regarding my flight arrival which is very early around 11am and will depart the next day at 7pm. The reply was so quick and very polite. They will try to accommodate my early check in and late check out. I arrived at the hotel lobby around 11.30am and I was informed that my room is ready. Massive thanks for JW Team for the hard work and it was confirmed that I can milk my Platinum perk of late checkout. 5 mins after registration, I get the key to my room. Very quick, efficient and smooth.

Room : I texted in the apps, I requested a room on the high floor and away from the elevator because I am a light sleeper. Level 19 is perfect. I cant hear a thing on the street level. The room is the farthest away from the elevator which seals the quietness overall. Thanks again JW Team. The room is spotlessly clean and massive. The bed is comfy. Ac also works well. The sofa bed is massive. TV and minibars works well. The minibar is well stocked and the price card is attached for consumption. The bathroom is massive and high tech. The bathtub is nice. Amenities are complete. Love the fresh smell of the room. I love the bathrobe and slippers. TV works well. When we left for evening cocktail, we didnt realize that we didnt put the DND button. So the turndown service came into the room to refresh it. I highly appreciate it as we slept for 2 hours in the evening and "destroyed" the bed. By 8pm we are back in the room, the turndown services remake the room entirely for us to sleep. The bed is now prepared nicely and very crisp for us to "destroy" the bed again with a peaceful night sleep.

Lounge : The lounge is located in level 2 overlooking the traditional building next door. I love it so much. The lounge is massive but complete with a quiet zone. I was warmly welcomed everytime I go there for all sessions. The lady manning the front counter are efficient to make sure no queue buildup. The evening cocktail is massive with wide variety of selection. The noodle station is the winner for the evening. I love the fresh salmon and the sushi selections. The lounge personnel are very attentive and ready to serve and make small chit chat with guests. Love the hot chocolate so much. Evening, Night and Breakfast, I just choose the hot chocolate.

Breakfast : Lounge breakfast selection is minimal but I value the ambiance. The foot traffic were relatively high but JW staffs are super efficient. The egg station is manned by a very warm chef. The clear winner is the pastry selection which is more than just sufficient. The table keeping is fast and quick as well. Great service all around.

Facility : There are 2 pool. Pool at level 6 is located at the other building which is quite confusing. It is an outdoor pool with direct sunlight. Warm water and larger in size. I love it so much. Pool in level 18 are indoor but open. It overlook the marina Bay Financial Centre which has an amazing view. This pool is smaller but the it has million dollar views. I love the pool in level 18 better. The sunset view from this pool is amazing. The elevator in the hotel are quick. And the interior decor of the elevator is awesome. Love it so much.

Satisfaction : 100% satisfied. Kudos to JW for the perfect stay overall. Special shout out to Leong Shan for his hospitality. You made my day with your witty jokes. Will I be staying again? Yes. At the time of writing this review, I still consider myself a Marriott Tang person but my spouse switched allegiance to JW Marriott entirely. You know man always lose in making decision, so I might be seeing you again in the future. Haha. We left Singapore this time with a perfect vacation just to unwind our post holiday fever and came back to office refreshed, recharged and energized.

It’s been a while since I posted a review, but I had an excellent stay at JW Marriott South Beach Singapore from 7–9 Jan 2026. Service was top-notch from check-in to check-out. The staff were attentive, friendly, and went the extra mile. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Highly recommend!

We spent a 2-night staycation here to celebrate our daughter’s 3rd birthday, and the experience was wonderful from start to finish.

During check-in, our daughter was given a colouring and sticker activity pack, which kept her happily occupied while we settled in. A special mention to Samuel, who was incredibly attentive throughout our stay. He thoughtfully arranged a cake and balloon surprise for our daughter and even took the time to write a handwritten birthday card, which made the occasion feel even more personal and memorable. The kids’ amenities were delivered to our room almost immediately after check-in, which was another lovely touch.

When Hazel brought the cake and balloons, she took the time to share recommendations on which pool our daughter would enjoy most, which we really appreciated.

The service was warm, genuine, and consistently thoughtful throughout our stay. We had a fantastic time, and the biggest compliment came from our daughter herself—she called the hotel her “second home” and even asked when we could come back.

Thank you to Samuel, Hazel, and the entire team for helping make her birthday celebration so special. We look forward to returning again soon.

Darren was great the whole night in beach road kitchen! The seafood area, and the stir fry lamb was the best I've had yet. Make sure not to miss out on ordering the oysters!

We spent a staycation for our wedding anniversary. Fiona the lounge manager was absolutely above and beyond in giving us a great feeling and service. She definitely made our stay be memorable and couldn’t commend her more

The surprise was really nice on the preparation done in the room as well as the way the staff around have been treating us and the hotel is pretty new and well maintained

Superb hotel in very good location within walking distance to lots of malls and attractions. Staff service is good and the room design by Philip Starck is interesting. Bathroom has good shower with nice toiletries and comfortable bed.

Rocking chair for the room desk is not very comfortable to sit and work. And the pool is not that big but with great view.

Accessible to nearby MRT, shopping malls and food. Room is relatively big for a family of 4. Enjoy the complementary drinks at level 18, with bird's eye view.
