Wonderful view in Premier King suite
Nice Guest Relations staff Including the super polite helpful staff during our checkout . He was the nicest
The smell of the carpet in the room was musty and kinda stinky damp smell
Staff at the Gin lounge were more interested in their handphones then interacting with guests
Darren was great the whole night in beach road kitchen! The seafood area, and the stir fry lamb was the best I've had yet. Make sure not to miss out on ordering the oysters!
Everthing was awesome as soon as you walk in
Nada, liked nah loved everything
It’s not iften I leave a review but this one was worth giving.
We spent a staycation for our wedding anniversary. Fiona the lounge manager was absolutely above and beyond in giving us a great feeling and service. She definitely made our stay be memorable and couldn’t commend her more
The surprise was really nice on the preparation done in the room as well as the way the staff around have been treating us and the hotel is pretty new and well maintained
Overall a very nice experience!
had a blast staying here, service, food, ambience and room was just all top tier!!!
Phyllis, Fiona and Han
服務非常親切,非常好
每次來到酒店看到他們都很高興
尤其Phyllis準備的飲料都非常的用心
Superb hotel in very good location within walking distance to lots of malls and attractions. Staff service is good and the room design by Philip Starck is interesting. Bathroom has good shower with nice toiletries and comfortable bed.
Rocking chair for the room desk is not very comfortable to sit and work. And the pool is not that big but with great view.
Accessible to nearby MRT, shopping malls and food. Room is relatively big for a family of 4. Enjoy the complementary drinks at level 18, with bird's eye view.
Pillows are too soft and flat.
Had evening cocktails in the executive lounge and the service that Phyllis provided us was sublime. She was incredibly attentive and when overheard that I was bloated, created a concoction for me that aids digestion. She also created a concoction based on my friend's preferences that my friend loved. This pristine level of service is what sets JW Marriott apart from other hotels in Singapore. Thank you so much Phyllis!
Came back this time for a solo getaway and I was well taken care of at the executive lounge! Fiona and Javier remembered me even though it had been a year and ensured I had a comfortable stay and time in the lounge! Will definitely keep coming back to stay because of them!
Wonderful two night stay at JW Marriott. Check in was quick despite the hotel being very busy. The staff were very friendly and informative.
We had a lovely room with a very comfortable bed. The bathroom was very spacious and exceptionally clean. Great mini bar!
Breakfast was good - plenty of choice and good quality. We also had access to the executive lounge which was one of the better lounges we've used. The food was fresh and plentiful; good selection of drinks and the staff very friendly.
We had room service once which was good.
Pool area is amazing with incredible views.
Fantastic location - plenty to do in the surrounding area.
Hope to return one day!
I've stayed at this location many and the service has always been outstanding. Especially the crew in the lounge, Phyllis, Joleen and the rest of the crew are great. They can help you with anything you need. Its always a great experience staying. I highly recommend this location if you are looking to stay in Singapore.
The JW Marriott Singapore South Beach is a well-positioned luxury hotel that combines modern design with strong business and leisure amenities. Overall, it delivers a high-quality stay, though with a few trade-offs typical of design-focused properties.
The hotel stands out for its bold, contemporary architecture and artistic interior design. Rooms are stylish and well-equipped, featuring modern technology, comfortable beds, and good workspace setup. The bathrooms are sleek, often with rain showers and high-end finishes. However, the design prioritises aesthetics over practicality in some areas. Lighting controls and room layout can feel slightly unintuitive. Rooms are also on the smaller side compared to other luxury hotels in Singapore. The hotel offers two infinity pools, both visually impressive with great city views. Gym
The fitness centre is well-equipped and modern, with a good range of cardio machines and weights. The space is clean and maintained to a high standard.
A minor drawback is that it can get busy during early mornings and evenings, given its popularity with business travellers.
The lounge is a strong addition, offering good food quality and attentive service. However, it can become crowded at peak times - this is also true for the normal breakfast place..kitchen road,
Service throughout the hotel is consistently professional and efficient. Staff are well-trained and responsive, although interactions can sometimes feel slightly transactional rather than personal
I recently had the pleasure of spending two weeks at the JW Marriott Singapore South Beach, and I can honestly say it was one of the most memorable hotel experiences I've ever had.
Staff & Service
From the moment I arrived, the staff were super friendly and genuinely warm. Every interaction — whether at reception, in the lobby, or passing in the corridors — was met with a smile and a willingness to help. You could tell this wasn't rehearsed; these people genuinely enjoy what they do.
The Room
My room was nothing short of magnificent. Spacious, beautifully appointed, and flooded with natural light, it felt more like a luxury apartment than a hotel room. The design is sleek and modern, with every detail carefully considered. The bed was extremely comfortable — one of the best I've slept in at any hotel — and the pillows were equally impressive. I requested a firm pillow and the hotel provided one without hesitation, ensuring I had the perfect night's sleep every single night of my stay.
Housekeeping — The Real Stars
If I could give six stars, it would be for the housekeeping team. Over the course of my two-week stay, they didn't just maintain my room — they learned me. They noticed the small habits I didn't even think about: keeping a bottle of water placed on my bedside locker exactly where I like it, positioning the toilet roll in the bathroom just the way I prefer, and turning down my bed each evening without fail. That level of attention to detail and personalised care is incredibly rare and truly made me feel valued as a guest. Outstanding doesn't even begin to cover it.
Amenities
The hotel amenities are top class. Everything you could need is available and maintained to an impeccable standard. Whether it's the pool, the gym, or the communal spaces, quality is evident at every turn.
The One Criticism
If I had to find a fault — and it really is my only one — it's the breakfast pricing. At 45 SGD plus taxes, it is quite expensive, particularly for an extended stay. The quality is good, but for guests staying longer than a few nights, it would be nice to see a more competitive rate or a loyalty/long-stay package for dining.
Final Verdict
The JW Marriott Singapore South Beach delivered an exceptional experience. The personalised service from the housekeeping team alone sets this hotel apart from the competition. For anyone looking for a luxury stay in Singapore where you're treated as more than just a room number, I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough.
I will absolutely be back.
The hotel lobby smelled like a relaxing spa. The room was clean and spacious. Breakfast buffet was great. The location was superb, just accross Suntec mall, walking distance to Merlion park, and just beside the Esplanade train station.
we held our wedding in may 2026 and have been working with chanel and her team since 2025. everything has been a breeze with her and her dream team!
special mention to all staff behind the scenes, mainly Eshan (Banquet in-charge), Maran (2nd in-charge), Fauzi (AV), Chef Raymond and his kitchen team for giving their 100% in ensuring our wedding runs smoothly and perfectly!
our guests were throughly impressed with the venue.. from set up to dish standards - quantity and quality were a perfect 10.
thank you to chanel and the whole team! our guests wouldn’t have had such an amazing if not for all your hard work
Its an expensive hotel and i expected much better service.
First night room was very substandard - and after lot of discussion they moved me to a bigger room finally on second night.
The reception staff who checked me in was not only rude but lied to me about my room status. The duty manager tried to intervene later but too late.
The lounge is great with many good drinking options and food variety. The servers are very nice, but bartended seemed angry on everything including customers trying to pour a drink themselves
Breakfast was OK, but quality of local dishes could be better. Like who in Singapore can make bad kaya toast !
