Expensive please make it clearer about extras on site
Pros:

We thought we had access to the pool only to be told 15 each.
Parking £10 each overnight 5 motorcycles taking only one space.
Seems all about the cash than customer service .
Great location and nice hotel just money oriented.

Fabulous, welcoming & highly recommended
Pros:

Gorgeous hotel with great views. Very welcoming for our one night stay with my dad & young springer spaniel. Would definitely return if visiting Lakes again.

Cons:

Minor thing but breakfast staff didn’t let us know what we needed to do. We were in the bar as had dog with us & had to ask what the process was.

Comfy beds, frozen sausages!
Pros:

Beds were super comfy. Good location.

Cons:

Corridor flooring is loud and therefore when you are trying to sleep you have a combination of people talking, slamming bedroom doors and creaky flooring.

Breakfast seemed a bit chaotic. Low on food and lots of dirty tables.
We requested vegan/vegi sausages which was no problem, but they came out frozen!!! Think a bit of food safety retraining is needed.

Good location for the town but steep walk back up to the hotel, Food was good, but staff not familiar with menu and not
Pros:

Victorian property that demonstrated a fairly recent upgrade
Room was clean, with good grade of bed linen

Cons:

Welcome wasn’t straight forward, checked-in incorrectly (as person was in training ( told me I was in snuggle room when in fact I had booked a signature room ) Access to the room was tricky, stairs to first floor as lift not working. Then thankfully a lift to the third floor. Room was bijou and very warm with no air con but, a very dusty fan was insitu.
