Pros:

Firstly, the service I received was exceptional. I especially want to mention Paul on the front desk and Manoj, the hotel manager. I was having a really rough week when I checked in and they both went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable and happy. I can't thank them enough for their efforts. Secondly, the facilities and the hotel itself are beautifully kept and it was a joy to stay there. The location is really convenient and within walking distance to all the shops, bars and restaurants in Bowness. I would highly recommend!

Overcharged for everything , parking, umbrella hire, gym and pool. No breakfast, no room service. Attitude of staff dreadful apart from Paul, whose behaviour was exemplary.

A bit under whelmed
Pros:

Room was small and lacked seating.
Overall hotel appeared to be under staffed - don't expect to have to go looking for bar staff when you want a drink.
That said, most of the staff were very helpful & friendly
Breakfast was just OK. Often a long wait for fresh eggs, bacon etc.

Cons:

Felt pressurised to decline daily room service.

Pros:

I've stayed at the Ro Hotel a couple of times so happy to return. It's a great location in Bowness, really close to the lake, near to all the pubs, restaurants, and great walks.
Love having access to the small pool
Decent Hot breakfast buffet in the morning has everything you'd expect

Cons:

We stayed during the period of hot weather so it would have been nice if the room had air conditioning.

Pros:

Room was clean and fresh , lovely air con which was very welcome in regards to the heat - had a up grade free of charge which was a lovely touch as it was my birthday treat...and I love the breakfast - the only thing was the fire alarm went off in error but it all added to the experience lol - I will be back !!

everything its my place to stay when I bob down for a short break - cant really go away as I look after my disabled brother and one night does the job
