Great location!
Pros:

Location was amazing for exploring historic downtown.

Room was good size, great outdoor patio, nice bathroom. All the facilities you'd expect at a hotel room.

All the staff were friendly.

We'd stay here again and would recommend them to others looking to explore St Augustine historic downtown :)

View, Location & Staff - the best!
Pros:

We enjoyed our stay in Marker 8. We have a private balcony and enjoyed our view of Atlantic Ocean, overlooking the town and bridge. We even saw dolphins while watching the sunset and during sunrise. The location is excellent. Quiet and easy accessible to sights and comfort of restaurants etc. The free parking was excellent. The staff were so gracious and attentive. Gary on the reception area gave us a thorough walk through and recommendations. The ladies in the dining area were sweet and nice. We definitely will come back when we get a chance.

Cons:

The AC and bathroom were loud and may need of maintenance. The AC was giving off a musty smell. Despite this, we still love the hotel.

El staff desagradable, llegamos y no nos ofrecieron el happy hour, estando servido… luego nos metimos a la piscina y no habian toallas. Agua tampoco habia. El desayuno incluido una verguenza… lo venden como desayuno del chef y no tiene nada de especial. La verdad esta evaluado con 9.5 y no lo merece! Le daria un 8 quizas, pero no mas que eso. Caro para lo que es

Saved from cockroaches by the housekeeper
Pros:

Our room had MANY cockroaches that we had brought up to the front desk, but the lady there did not want to help and simply said, “welcome to florida”. We would have left, but the housekeeper Sherrie saved the day. Her professionalism, eagerness to help, and kindness did not go unnoticed. She overheard us speaking about it in the hall and immediately jumped into action. Many thanks to Sherry!

Absolutely perfect!
Pros:

Cannot say enough great things about Marker 8! The staff were all so friendly and helpful. The rooms were wonderful. The patio on the second floor with the view was amazing. Cocktail hour was great and breakfast was phenomenal. The short walk into downtown also makes this a perfect place to stay and the free parking is an added bonus. We will definitely be back!

Pros:

It’s always a great time whenever we come to Marker 8. We love it so much we’ve made it our go to spot whenever we come to St. Augustine. Look no further. The hospitality is unmatched and there’s so much enjoyment to be had here. Gina is also our absolute favorite. She goes above and beyond for us!
