Pros:

Wunderschöner frühstücksraum mit reicher Auswahl und frisch zubereiteten Eierspeisen.
Das Restaurant am See war ein wunderschöner Ort mit entusiastischem Service.
Sehr angenehmes frisches Design in Kombination von Art Nouveau und Pop Moderne.
Sehr komfortable Betten

Cons:

Die Lounge am See könnte besser ausgestattet und bedient werden für Pre-dinner und Absackergäste.
Die Zimmer waren nach dem schönen Design des Hotelinterieurs doch ein bisschen einfaltslos und unterkühlt

Excellent accommodation, food, and service with spectacular lake views.
Pros:

From the moment I stepped into the hotel, the service had been exceptional. I had just come from a train journey and somewhere between Milan and Lugano, one of my bags was stolen. So, by the time I made my way to the hotel I was not in the best of moods. That quickly changed thanks to Phillip. He welcomed me to sit down and he came over with a refreshing drink and proceeded to cover all the services of the hotel and the restaurants on property. He also loaned me an adapter (adapters were in the stolen bag) so I could keep my phone and other items charged. The room is spectacular. I would highly recommend spending the extra money for a room with a private terrace or balcony. The views of the lake are worth the extra money. I want to make sure to thank Phillip and the rest of the hotel staff for making my first stay in Switzerland pleasant and memorable.

Anniversary
Pros:

We stayed at your beautiful hotel in April to celebrate a special wedding anniversary. The hotel exceeded our expectations in every way especially the staff. The staff without exception were professional, kind and always took the time to deal with any questions we had.
Our room was perfect. It had a wonderful view of the lake and we could watch the magnificent sunset from our balcony.
We would like to thank specifically Raphael, Philippe, Louis, Madeline and Bruno for their attentive, caring and personal service. They certainly made our stay very special.
Thank you all for everything.
We will be back and look forward to our return.

A truly magical stay — happy 125th birthday, Vitznauerhof! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Pros:

From the moment we arrived, we felt genuinely welcomed. Phillip and Kyra at the reception set the tone immediately, warm, attentive, and full of that rare kind of hospitality that makes you feel like a special guest, not just a booking number.

Our balcony view was simply breathtaking. Watching the sunset over Lake Lucerne with the mountains in the background is the kind of moment you don’t forget.

What truly sets the Vitznauerhof apart, though, is how thoughtfully every detail has been considered and executed. Nothing feels accidental here, from the room design to the small touches throughout the stay, you sense that real care and intention went into every corner of this place.

And what a year to visit! The Vitznauerhof was built in 1901 , making 2026 its 125th anniversary — and the branding celebrating this milestone is absolutely lovely. It honors the hotel’s rich history while feeling fresh and proud. Happy birthday, Vitznauerhof!

Unvergesslich mit ganz persönlicher Note von dezentem Luxus

Der Service war aussergewöhnlich und sehr persönlich. Das Frühstück war sehr reichlich in einem wunderschönen lichtdurchfluteten Raum. Es war bei dem schönene Wetter und der wunderschönen Lage, dem gepflegten Garten und in weiss und cremefarbig gehaltenen modern/antikem Ambiente mit den riesigen Fenstern, wie in einem Great Gatsby Traum. Das Gebäude selber ist mit den Jugendstilakzenten wunderschön und die NAchmittage waren bei Drinks und Abende am Rand des Wasser unter den wachsamen Augen des Teams von Marco und Celine, Ricardo Lars usw eine unvergessliche Erfahrung

Die Zimmer sind klinisch einfach wie in einem Hospital, einfach sauber zu halten schon, aber doch unpersönlich im Vergleich zu der Rafinesse der Architektur im restlichen Hotel, Wir machen uns Sorgen, dass im Sommer der StandAir Conditioner nicht ausreichen wird, da nur ein relativ kleines Fenster auf den Berg schaut.
Bei grossem Andrang ist der Frühstücksraum chaotisch. Kann man kein besseres System entwickeln um Eierspeisenwünsche und Kaffeebestellungen abzufragen?

One night is not enough!
Pros:

A fantastic experience from the warm welcome to the stunning view of the lake from our room. Everything was first class and the sauna cabin by the lake was a real bonus! Immaculate in every way we will be back for a longer stay!
