We stayed in the country house part and it was truly beautiful and absolutely spotless.
The room was spacious and overlooked the grounds .
The food was good and the breakfast was plentiful and tasty. Good coffee, friendly staff and we highly recommend.
The room was warm, but fans were supplied. Evening Cinema in the grounds was a nice touch.
All good, nothing negative to say.
Stayed here on many occasions & tried all the different room choices , never disappointed , staff , food , cocktails ,services accommodation & facilities all top draw

-Excellent customer service
-clean, rooms, with a portable air con unit and overhead fan that were very welcome during the heat wave
-the building was very pretty as were the grounds
-the dinner in the restaurant was exceptional and the staff in there were attentive, knowledgeable and very friendly
-the breakfast was fresh, delicious and more varied than most hotel breakfasts
-Yhe reception staff were so friendly and helpful
Spacious, clean well maintained
Our room was too hot despite 3 fans. Would’ve expected air conditioning to be part of the design of a west facing room.

The room was very comfortable, the receptionist was very welcoming and charming and went out of his way to be helpful. The grounds and garden are beautiful. We were with our daughter and small granddaughter so ate early, we very much enjoyed sitting out in the garden in the evenings
The bacon at breakfast
The room was excellent! The weekend that we stayed the temperature reached 32 degrees ! Fortunately for us the staff had put 2 extras fans in our room. All the staff were very friendly and informative. The breakfast was the icing on the cake! The selection was excellent. There was some thing to suit everyone.
I can honestly say nothing at all. It is in a perfect location in beautiful grounds.The dining rooms and extra sitting room are very welcoming with easy access to your accommodation and bars.
