Paying an extra $10 per day for parking.
The only reason I’m giving this review 4 stars is for housekeeping. They’re still doing a stellar job. At least that hasn’t changed. This has been our go to hotel for the last couple of years on our way south to visit family which we do 3 or 4 times a year. We’ve loved staying here, and it felt like a home away from home. I previously wrote a review after our stay in March complaining about newly having to pay for parking. What hotel charges you to park in their lot unless it’s a major city where parking is scarce and at a premium!? It’s only $10 but it’s the principle. This time around started poorly with a whole mixup at the front desk reserving a room and checking in which was a long comedy of errors except not funny. Let’s just leave that that. Then in the morning we found out that they did away with the buffet and now it’s à la carte. I get $10 per person food credit as a gold member. That used to almost cover the cost of the breakfast buffet. Now for $14 we had the privilege of eating flavorless eggs, burnt bacon and cold home fries along with lukewarm coffee! So sad. I know the cost of food and everything has gone up, but at the very least make the à la carte taste like the price. Upon checking out, I figured I had better ask for a printout of my receipt before leaving, which I never do. Of course, there was an error. It was immediately corrected when I pointed it out, but it was the last straw. I’m sorry to say we will not be staying here again.
Bed and shower
No complimentary breakfast, water in frig, hot in lobby and elevator
This hotel is dated, need to be updated, showers weak water was not hot enough. T.V. need to be updated to smart t.v. No Netflix. No Ice cream in the lobby store. I am very displeased as a Hilton Honors member. I was looking forward to taking a hot shower ,relaxing with ice cream and watching Netflix but ended up disappointed. I have stayed in better hotels for the amount that I payed. This is primitive. I am so upset and the bad part is I have to stay here another night.
Very clean. Staff is amazing
The breakfast is very overpriced and doesn’t offer a great variety and is mediocre at best.
The room was spacious but older in style (and somewhat dark). It would truly benefit from a renovation to a more modern look. The rooms were clean and quiet however. Wifi was a bit finicky but reasonable speed when connected.
The breakfast is a poor value and disappointing for the price. At $15 for a buffet (not even covered fully by elite $10 credit), you would expect something more than a Hampton Inn would offer but it is essentially the same quality and selection. The buffet price also does not include any made to order eggs. The $10 for parking also seems a bit excessive given the suburban location.
Overall, the hotel was fine but overpriced for the value it offered.
Very clean
It would have been nice if coffee and tea were available 24 hours
Breakfast was supposed to be free, but it very expensive.
We had the best room service in the world they literally set up the beds with the blankets we brought and the plushies we brought and made it look amazing they cleaned everything and only touched our blankets and plushies to set them perfectly on the beds
The bed was way too squeaky
The staff was nice
The hot tub had too much chlorine which made the experience not very enjoyable.
