We had a great stay here. Really well priced and very close to the Taj Mahal. They helped us organise a guide and have recommendations of what to do in the area.

Stayed here as a family for 2 nights. Very glitzy and modern looking. Staff were helpful and polite. Rooms were very clean. We had an issue with one of the rooms smelling very strongly of one can only describe as an acrid smell. It most likely related to the air conditioning as it was much more obvious in the corridors. We asked for a room change and it was graciously accommodated. I've given it 3 stars for the following reasons: Firstly on arrival after an extremely long and tiring journey, at check in were bombarded with various upgrade options, which in hindsight felt a bit inappropriate for a Mariott 5 star hotel. We were cornered at reception for a good half an hour when all we wanted to do was go to oyr rooms. Secondly given the size of the hotel everything is upscaled which can often affect the quality. In this instance the first night we ate in the restaurant I can only describe it as carnage. It was packed and there were lots of people walking around by the buffet. This in itself is expected but what really put us off was the hoardes of young children sticking their fingers in the food, helping themselves to the dry food and oblivious parents. It did put us off. Buffets can be risky at the best of times and this certainly doesn't give this type of meal a good reputation. Possibly we came at the wrong time but it also made us feel slightly uneasy. The food was OK - not the best we've had in India but again this is a huge hotel. Breakfast was calmer and there was good choice from pastries to food cooked to order. If we came back to Agra we'd possibly pick a smaller upscale hotel but everyone has different preferences.

Great location and excellent guest services. Sameer at the restaurant was great and very attentive to our family and very accommodating on special food requests.

Room cleanliness was excellent, and breakfast was really good

Fantastic experience. The occassion was my daughter's birthday. The General Manager of the hotel, Deep Singh Arneja, made sure that we were looked after with utmost care and great hospitality. The room was decorated with flowers and Ballons. Neha, Vansh and Aditya walked in with surprises- cakes and goodies. The F&B team was just WOW , its not always about food its also about the warmth of greeting guests. Roshna, Bhavya, Lalit and their F&B Manager Akshay Nath. Last but not the least their ever smiling trainee and seemed like a trouble shooter...Dev Gupta, we requested anything it was made available within minutes.

Overall set up was fine

Lovely Hotel, great value and close to Taj Mahal

I didnt find the staff enough courteous. It was our first stay and i guess it would be our last stay also.

Our two-night stay at Courtyard by Marriott was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we entered the property until the time we checked out, every interaction reflected professionalism, warmth, and genuine hospitality.

The experience started right at the entrance. The security staff at the gate were courteous, efficient, and welcoming, making us feel comfortable from the very beginning. Walking into the hotel, we were greeted by a stunning lobby that is both elegant and visually impressive—it truly creates a wonderful first impression.

A special thanks to Vansh, who went above and beyond throughout our stay. From beautifully arranging our room décor to ensuring every request was fulfilled promptly, he made sure our experience was seamless and memorable. His dedication to guest satisfaction was evident in every interaction.

Our dining experience was equally outstanding, thanks to Dheerendra. He took the time to understand our preferences, recommended some of his personal favourites, and every suggestion turned out to be excellent. His humility, politeness, and attention to detail made every meal enjoyable.

We were also wonderfully looked after by Roshna and Diya in the restaurant. From managing our table to ensuring everything—from table setup to utensils and service—was perfectly arranged, they were attentive, courteous, and always ready to help with a smile.
A special mention goes to Ravi, the pasta chef, his White Sauce Pasta is an absolute must-try. It is, without exaggeration, one of the best white sauce pastas I have ever had. Perfectly cooked, rich, creamy, and incredibly flavorful—it deserves every bit of appreciation.

One of the absolute highlights of our stay was the Tattva Spa experience. The two-hour massage was pure bliss. The therapeutic swedish oil massage combined with expertly applied pressure-point techniques was deeply relaxing and rejuvenating. Every minute felt worth it, and the therapists were highly skilled and professional. To top it all off, the steam bath after the massage was the perfect finishing touch, leaving us completely refreshed and relaxed. It was undoubtedly one of the best spa experiences we've had.

Lastly, Mukund deserves recognition for his excellent management of the team and operations. His leadership was clearly reflected in the smooth coordination, prompt service, and overall efficiency of the staff.

Every member of the team contributed to making our stay unforgettable. The hospitality, cleanliness, food quality, ambience, spa experience, and attention to detail were all world-class. It's rare to find a hotel where every department consistently exceeds expectations, but Courtyard by Marriott certainly does.

A heartfelt thank you to the entire team for making our stay so special. We will definitely be returning and would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for an outstanding hospitality experience. A well-deserved 5/5 stars!

Service & Hospitality
The staff regularly remembered our faces and greeted us warmly, allowing us to fully relax. The tour manager was also highly responsive.
A small event for children was held on Saturday evening. The children were invited to decorate their own cupcakes, and my daughter was delighted.

Dining
We had breakfast and dinner, and both were delicious. They offer both Indian and Western dishes. In particular, the staff at the live pasta station kindly customized the dishes to our preferences. Our children loved it and even went back for seconds, which was a huge help since they aren't used to spicy Indian food.

Rooms & Facilities
We originally booked two twin rooms but were flexibly moved to connecting rooms for our second night. The bedding area was spotless. As Japanese guests, we loved the hand-held shower head and the strong water pressure. We noticed a bit of noise from neighboring rooms and experienced a brief 15-second power cut during a bath, but neither was a major issue. I suspect the walls in the room are quite thick.

Pool
My daughter absolutely loved the swimming pool. The amenities—including the changing rooms, free towel hire, and lifeguards—were of a high standard. While the water quality was average, it was acceptable for the price. The staff also efficiently returned a swimsuit we had forgotten by the pool within 10 minutes of asking.

Verdict
The overall service far exceeded the price. It left us with beautiful memories. Thank you to all the wonderful staff!
