Really pleasant staff, Great room and great breakfast
This hotel is located in a narrow, busy street in the heart of restaurants and bars making it very convenient to stroll around finding a spot to sit and relax.
We were able to walk to the Citadel/Imperial City, stopping at the local fresh produce market along the way.
The hotel has a pool for cooling off and our room was very comfortable and well appointed.
All the staff were very friendly and offered to help in any way they could to make our stay more enjoyable.
Breakfast was quite a feast and the options were beyond our expectations.
We really enjoyed our stay – thanks to all the staff.

Absolutely fantastic hotel. An at the front desk reception was incredibly friendly and kind. She helped us so much during our stay and made us feel very welcomed. By far the best place we have stayed here in Vietnam, and would come back to Hue just to stay here again. Cannot thank her and her team enough. What a brilliant hotel. An at reception.

Superb value for money. The staff team greeting us were lovely and helpful, and the room was spacious, comfortable and clean. There's a small pool on the 3rd floor to cool off in, and the buffet breakfast was outstanding with great variety and flavour.

We arrived at the hotel to friendly smiles, assistance with our luggage, and refreshing orange welcome drinks. After being guided through the usual hotel rules and check-in formalities, we were quickly made to feel at home.

Once checked in, a porter escorted us to our room. The large bed sat centrally within the room, while a huge window and balcony provided excellent views across Hue. The bathroom was tastefully finished and equipped with a Japanese-style automatic toilet, which always seems far more advanced than anything we have at home.

The room also included tea and coffee-making facilities, complimentary bottled water, and a selection of snacks. The minibar, which was reasonably stocked with beer, soft drinks and water, was available at an additional charge.

Despite having a large balcony, the full-length curtains provided excellent privacy when required. Being on the eighth floor certainly came with impressive views, although those less keen on heights may find themselves taking a cautious first step onto the balcony. One small concern was that the balcony safety rail felt slightly wobbly.

The décor throughout the room was distinctly Southeast Asian and created a warm, welcoming atmosphere that complemented our stay in Hue perfectly.

Breakfast offered a good variety of options, ranging from fresh fruit and pastries to cooked items, rice dishes and noodles. There was certainly plenty of choice available. Where else can you enjoy chicken curry for breakfast and have it feel completely normal? The breakfast staff were attentive and always happy to help.

After a day exploring Hue, we decided to cool off in the swimming pool on the second floor. The pool itself was pleasant, although the metal steps leading into it were extremely slippery. I discovered this firsthand, much to Megan’s amusement. Unfortunately for me, she wasn’t filming at the time, so there will be no appearance on “You’ve Been Framed” and no cheque arriving in the post.

There was no lifeguard on duty during our visit, only a CCTV camera overlooking the pool area, so guests should exercise appropriate caution when using the facilities.

On our final evening, we booked aromatherapy massages. These were carried out in our room, which made the experience feel even more relaxing from the outset. It was a wonderful way to finish our stay in Hue.

The standout feature of this hotel, however, was the staff. Throughout our stay they were consistently friendly, attentive and welcoming. In particular, Minh and An always greeted us with warm smiles whenever we returned to the hotel, making us feel genuinely valued as guests.

We cannot thank the team enough for their hospitality. Their kindness and professionalism helped make our stay in Hue a memorable one, and we would happily return in the future.
