Hidden Gem
Pros:

This is the 3rd time staying here and is my Go to place in Sanur. The staff are friendly, breakfast plentiful and rooms comfortable. Grounds are taken really good care of by the lovely groundsmen. We had 4 dinners in the restaurant during our stay and the meals and dessert were tasty.

Cons:

The number of cats roaming throughout the resort.

Value and great times at swastika
Pros:

It was absolutely amazing in general. Location, beds staff , cocktails. The gardens and pools gorgeous.

Cons:

This is my only gripe. The shower. Awful. Shower curtain sticks to you while you’re trying to shower and the floor gets saturated.

Good value for money in a fab location to walk or cycle. Awesome staff.
Pros:

Great location, staff were fantastic, easy for beach, shopping and restaurants. Lovely pools to swim in, deckchairs could be revamped.

Cons:

Decor and bathrooms a little tired but very good value for price.

Good location and very quiet. Rooms very spacious. Friendly staff.

Cons:

Pool bar vey hard to get onto seating. No roof above shower in my ensuite, open to the sky. Dodgy door locks on older rooms. Pathways very slipper after rain, more than other hotels I've stayed at in Bali.

The bed was rock hard but I asked if they had mattress toppers and they put one on.. it could have used two 🙏

Pros:

De kamer is zeer ruim en alles wat men nodig heeft is aanwezig.

Cons:

De kamer was dichtbij kamers die verbouwd werden en dat gaf geluidsoverlast.
Tijdens een tweede verblijf zou mij een kamer worden gegeven die verder weg lag van de verbouwing, maar helaas was die kamer juist dichterbij de verbouwing.

Great stay in a lovely old style Balinese Hotel
Pros:

This was an our 3rd stay at Swastika. We have had on request, the same room each time. We love its location close to the main pool. The Cempaka breakfast restaurant provides a good breakfast with a reasonable choice of food and juices. On our first night we had dinner in the beautiful outdoor eating area. It was good food and inexpensive. Cocktails were also good. We love the swim up bar in the main pool as well. There are many restaurants on Jl. Danau Tamblingan within easy walking distance. Whilst not on the beach, it’s just a 500m walk to Pantai Karang with its beautiful walk way linking Pantai Karang to other beaches in both directions. There’s many eateries along the beach too! We love it here and will return.

Right place, right people, right atmosphere

The staff were helpful, friendly accommodating and welcoming.
The breakfast was lovely, but again the staff were the highlight.
The rooms were well set out, plenty of room.

Cons:

The bed was just too hard. It was my only upset.

Hidden Gem in the middle of Sanur
Pros:

Amazing location. The staff were so friendly and were there for everything you need. Our room was decorated for our Anniversary, I needed a doctor and it was there is 10 minutes. I had a birthday and got a cake and Happy Birthday delivered to my door. The pools are amazing, the mattress was amazing. 2 minutes to the beach, 10 minutes to Icon and 20 minutes to the south beach each walking. Amazing cocktails too. We will be staying there again.
