Convenient for what we were going to.
The shower tap fell off when we tried to use the shower. There was no screw holding it together. This would have been known by cleaners when they would have cleaned the room previously. Unable to have a shower. No other facility in the room.
Staff did not give my husband a key to the room to check-in even when I sent them a message requesting this.
Staff are rude and unhelpful on reception. Don't even answer the phone!

Great location - easy walk to the Aquatic Centre.
Ibis Budget is cost effective, has comfy beds, a hot shower and nearby parking. We used very handy public transport this time. The bus stop is about 70 metres away.
A perfect pre carnival breakfast is included - cereal, fruit, toast, pastries and great coffee. The pancake machine was an absolute hit with young and old alike.
The shower is just a cubicle in the room with a frosted glass door - there is no separate room. The toilet, (luckily) is a separate room.

Great price great location
For what you pay for it's a pretty good cost-benefit outcome. A superior location, plentiful albeit paid parking, and provides breakfast. The room and food is nothing flash but you don't pay much either, so if you're there for a place to crash and are eating out, this is a great choice.
They could have easily justified another staff member on deck at the reception. While the staff member there was phenomenal, he can't be in two places at once. The check in was slow and no time to chat with reception as there was a long line of people checking in, while a delivery arrived requiring the sole staff member's attention. Two people would have easily handled the workload, and clearly it's too much for one person.
The bed was comfortable and close to stadium.
Carpets, walls dirty, not family friendly. Rooms tiny, shower very small. Foyer dirty and uninviting. Lift was very hard to use and not working properly.
Last minute booking due to an accommodation issue. Staff were very helpful, had our room ready in less than an hour from booking time. Rooms are simple but the beds are comfy and the shower was hot.
The lime green wall could use an update....

Zero communication from the property for two weeks prior to our stay.
