When I tried to use the iron in the room the plate fell off just as I was about to plug it in so very dangerous. Had I plugged it in before noticing the problem I would probably have electrocuted myself or fused the hotel electrics. I asked Housekeeping to replace it which they did, and that replacement had holes in the plastic water tank so water flowed out! I asked for yet another one which I received. But one thing of concern was that none of those irons, nor the kettle or hairdryer had the electrical 'safe' sticker on them showing that they had been passed by an electrician as safe which I believe is required to be carried out at least once a year.

Breakfast poor. No attention paid when ordering, tiny portions. Sink in room faulty. Since the takeover in my option it’s no longer a 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ hotel more ⭐️⭐️⭐️ now when you pay top dollar you expect the best, sadly this is lacking now.

The room was a good size and clean.
Drink upon arrival.
They put is in a disabled room for some reason - so the sink was very low and awkward to use.
The girl on reception was dying of a cold and spreading it to all the guests - she should not have been on reception handing out keys or at the very least should’ve been wearing a mask. Not a 5-star experience.
No bottled water in the room.
The wifi is also non-secure, once connected I was able to view lots of other guests devices on the same network - a ‘hackers delight’ - client isolation required. Very worrying.
Everything was fabulous as ever, staff really friendly room amazing would definitely recommend.
