Redelijk maar niet wat je voor dit geld mag verwachten

Klimaatbeheersing werkte niet naar behoren (veel te warm),.Schoonmaak van kamer en hal was niet op het niveau dat je mag verwachten.

Good hotel
Pros:

The hotel's interior design is quite unique compared to other hotels. The bathroom has several mirrors, giving it a distinctive look. The bedroom is a bit darker than usual, and there is also a meeting table with six large chairs. Overall, the service was very good, and the staff were friendly and welcoming.

Wir wollten nur kurz nachfragen ob wir einen Late-Checkin machen können und sind dann unnötigerweise Minutenlang von einem Call Center welches sich nicht vor Ort befand aufgehalten worden inklusive der Aufforderung der Kreditkartendetails. Das geht gar nicht für eine Simple Frage die eigentlich sofort von der Rezeption beantwortet werden könnte.

A Most Impractical Room
Pros:

The Kameha Grand Zurich is close to the airport without being a typical frenetic airport hotel. It is located in a business area, but one that offers everything we like to have nearby, such as restaurants and a grocery store. Unfortunately, we found that its intentionally "quirky" design theme was forced to the point that our room was very impractical.

Our particular room was titled "The Poker Face Suite". What that meant was that the lounge area of the room was dominated by a large, soft sided, poker table. The dark paneling and low lighting made it difficult to see in the ample sized closet area - it was so dark we needed our cell phone flash lights to read the custom light switch labels. The room was divided by a large TV cabinet and that, with the poker table, took up much of the lounge area floor space. The sofa was old, and much too low.

We liked the double sink in the bathroom, some would like the deep bathtub, but the shower room was mirrored on all sides and had no bench and no handholds at all, making it impractical for many people and difficult for ladies to shave their legs. The toilet and bidet area was also mirrored on all sides. All of the mirrored walls were see through - so there was no privacy between the shower, toilet room, and wash basin/tub area. We did find that the automatic blinds and black out curtains allowed us to completely darken the room.

The breakfast offering was sufficient, but the items were not kept hot enough. We found the staff to be very helpful and professional.

Had a good confortable stay and ideally located between airport and main railway station

Very modern and classy hotel. A bit far from main station but well connected by the tram system

Cons:

Too many mirrors in the washroom and technology for lighting. ! One way mirror in the toilet and shower is rather unnerving ..
Breakfast is 30 francs pp so a bit expensive. Good places for bf close to the hotel

Das Kameha Grand Zürich ist ein stylisches Hotel mit modernem Design und großen, komfortablen Zimmern. Besonders gefallen haben mir das außergewöhnliche Ambiente, das freundliche Personal und die gute Lage nahe dem Flughafen.
Rundum: Schönes, modernes aussergewöhnliches Design, saubere Zimmer, freundlicher Service, gute Anbindung an den Flughafen.

Cons:

Relativ hohe Preise und das ausgefallene Design ist Geschmackssache.
