Sundia By Liberty Ölüdeniz

Disappointing stay. We pay a lot of money for a week, and expected the best! Food not great and often had to stand around waiting for food to be topped up. Beer was terrible, flat.
This was my honeymoon and I contacted the hotel prior to going out to see what they could offer complimentary to surprise my wife. Very disappointing some dried fruit which was inedible and a small bottle of red wine which we don’t drink.
It was particularly upsetting to hear that people who had a birthday whilst there for a complimentary cake and swans and hearts on their bed.
I I’ll definitely not return as other hotels much cheaper which means we can go out for some meals.
Sundia need to improve.
Can’t fault the staff they work so hard!

We arrived to a warm welcome from lovely Hatice and Yelde on reception and Yucel an Egenen the bell boys always smiling.
This being our 26th time over 29 years to what started as The Assena Beach hotel and now Sundia by Liberty Oludeniz. Our holiday was as always, excellent celebrating my 70th birthday The location is perfect for the beach and The Blue Lagoon. Shops and bars/ restaurants are in every street and it’s a no hassle atmosphere. Plenty of excursions to book locally just outside the hotel.
The hotel is in a lively part of the strip and this is made clear in the brochures and travel agents, also people should read the reviews from other guests.

The hotel itself is spotlessly clean, the bar/restaurant staff, cleaners and maintenance staff are constantly cleaning. Rooms are clean and tidy bedding is crisp and fresh with decorative swans and hearts with flowers. The food is beautifully presented ,tasty and plenty full. There’s plenty of choice and only repetitive if you load your plate every everything every meal time. There’s chicken, lamb beef, kebab meat meatballs etc various fish large variety of vegetables cold salads, so if you can’t make 14 different meals out of that lot there’s no satisfying people. Snacks at the pool restaurant was also excellent with large choice on the menu. Breakfast again very good with a good choice.
Ummy and the animation team work tirelessly in extreme heat to entertain guests always happy and smiling. The restaurant and bar staff always happy to help, smiling and chatting. A special thanks to Sita, Sukma and J , Grace and Buska. Serdar and Ibrahim and everyone who know us. And of course Mr Bullent (GM) and the fantastic management team.
We had as always a fantastic Holliday making great memories. We will see you all again soon

Also wir sind nun ca. das fünfte Mal in diesem Hotel gewesen. Ich muss wirklich sagen, dass ich erholt und glücklich aus dem Urlaub abgereist bin. Alle Angestellten sind sehr sehr nett und freundlich! Obwohl wir mitten in der Nacht ca. 03:00h im Hotel angekommen waren, wurden wir nicht abgewiesen und unser CheckIn wurde durchgeführt und wir durften in der Lobby "übernachten" um die Zeit bis zum Morgen zu überbrücken. Vielen Dank dafür.
Das Essen ist außergewöhnlich und sehr gut! Für jeden Gaumen ist das richtige dabei! Das Hotel ist zwar in die Jahre gekommen aber sehr komfortabel und SAUBER! Man fühlt sich wie zuhause!
Das Hotel bietet am Ölüdeniz Belcekiz Strand kostenlose Liegen und Sonnenschirme zur Verfügung! Normalerweise kostet das am zahlungspflichtigem Strand 30€ pro Tag- hier aber kostenlos und am eigenen privaten Strand.
Besonders möchte ich hier den sehr sehr netten Mitarbeiter (BeachBOY) am Strand Herr Ali loben, der stets hilfsbereit sich um die Gäste am Strand gekümmert hat und die Schirme und Liegen so positioniert hat, wie man es wollte. Vielen Dank dafür.

We stayed in the suncity hotel which is opposite a couple years back and this holiday was amazing! Food was brilliant everything was 10/10.
We decided to stay in the liberty hotel this year and have not had a great stay apart from being round the pool and the strip / beach.
I asked for a double room with garden view and we got the smallest room there could have been with a view of a aircon unit and a road.
The WiFi is just terrible it does not work so have been using 5g the whole holiday, the food .. isn’t too bad but definitely not a lot of variety to choose from, definitely not fit for everyone’s preferences.
The shower is far from powerful and the tap runs whilst the shower is running ??
The whole experience with the hotel and room just was not great,
The strip on the other hand amazing once again people are lovely , shops and foods are nice.
We definitely will not be returning to this hotel in the future.

Just returned from Sundia. The staff are amazing and work extremely hard, very attentive. Shout out to Chrissy, Ramazan and the guy at the adult pool bar who go over and above!
The rooms are spotless clean, and the hotel is set in beautiful grounds with an adult only pool.
Evening entertainment was good. The White Party was the best!
There is a lot of choice when it comes to food, but the quality isn’t great. Can be slow at replenishing dishes. We expected far better and people we met who were returners did comment on how it’s not as good this year as previous years.
It’s a shame really as this could be a really great hotel particularly due to the hotel grounds and location.
The Efes beer was disappointing, we let staff know that it was very flat and seemed to be worse out of the plastic glasses. This left us with no other options because we don’t drink spirits or cocktails.
We’ve stayed in far better hotels for the price.

We have just got home from our stay at Sundia by Liberty Ölüdeniz, and overall we had a fantastic holiday.

The hotel itself is beautiful, the rooms were modern, clean, and comfortable, and the food was excellent with plenty of choice every day. We did have a mix-up with our room when we arrived, but the staff dealt with it immediately and sorted everything out without any hassle, which we really appreciated.

The biggest highlight of our stay was definitely the staff. Every single member of the team was friendly, welcoming, and went above and beyond to make us feel at home. Their hard work really made our holiday special.

The only reason I'm hesitant about returning is because of the children's entertainment. My 10-year-old was quite bored as he wasn't allowed to join in any of the poolside games because they were all for ages 16 and over. The kids' club also seemed to be aimed mainly at toddlers, so there wasn't really anything suitable for children his age. It was only open from 10am-12pm and 2:30pm-4:30pm, whereas it would make much more sense for it to stay open during the hottest part of the day, giving children somewhere fun to be out of the sun.

The evening entertainment was brilliant and very enjoyable, but it started far too late for families with young children. The mini disco didn't begin until around 9pm, with the main entertainment starting at around 10:15pm and finishing close to 11pm. By then, the children were exhausted—one of ours even fell asleep in the pushchair before it had finished. It would be great if the entertainment started a little earlier so families could enjoy more of it together.

Location is literally on the strip we didnt have any issues sleeping due to the noise of the music 😊 the beach is only just a 5 minute walk down the strip aswell.

Value was amazing i did not want to return home

Overall, we had an amazing holiday and there is so much to love about this hotel. The beautiful facilities, fantastic food, lovely rooms, and outstanding staff made our stay unforgettable. If the children's activities and evening entertainment were adjusted to be a little more family-friendly, we wouldn't hesitate to return. Hopefully this is something the hotel will consider, because we would genuinely love to come back.

Location:
The hotel’s location is spot on and could not get much better in my opinion. Plenty of bars, restaurants and shops at your doorstep and 2 mins walk to the beach.

Rooms:
We stayed in room 1034 and it was average, it did the job but we were slightly disappointed with a few things. It was quite small compared to the last room I stayed in during my last visit, although the balcony was far bigger. The WiFi was absolutely shocking in the room and we could only use our phones on the balcony which had the scorching sun on it until 7pm, so this was inconvenient. We complained a few times about this issue but the staff at reception did not seem too bothered. The cleaner was lovely and worked hard every day, but one day we were left without any towels at all and another I was given a towel with brown stains all over it, but after ringing reception these were swapped immediately. Air conditioning was great and beds were comfy. The shower door was slightly broken but the shower was also really good. The hairdryer also blew up in my hand which was quite dangerous - suppose it’s not the hotels fault entirely and they did sort it straight away but I was lucky not to be hurt.

Pool area:
Pool area was really good, plenty of sunbeds even later on, pool was a great temperature and size.

Drinks:
The cocktails were great with a good variety and some cocktails of the day. Beer was good with Efes on draught. I’d say drinks were of a high standard and didn’t feel ‘cheap’ like other hotels.

Food:
Breakfasts were fine, turkey doesn’t always have the best breakfasts but the omelettes in this hotels were nice - no complaints. Lunches at the pool bar were probably the best part, unbelievable variety and food and we wish this was open of a night! The food of a night was average, not the best but not the worst. We enjoyed the far east and Turkish night but other nights the food weren’t the best. We ended up eating out most nights which is fine as the restaurants in Oludeniz are amazing.

Entertainment:
We thought the entertainment was really good to be honest, some of the best we’ve seen at a hotel. The prestige show and white party were great. Usually we like to go out for drinks but a lot of nights we ended up staying in to watch the entertainment. Daytime entertainment was great too, always something going on!

Overall, we had a fantastic stay at the hotel and would return. I just wish it was bed and breakfast still like it used to be as the location is great and the nighttime food isn’t the best in the hotel. But on the flip side the lunches and drinks made up for going all inclusive. The room had a few downsides but i would still return overall and we had the best holiday!

Good location very clean rooms on the small side, good food with plenty of variety great staff very accommodating lots of activities around the pool good value for money

Everything is great but there is no non-smoking areas - eg am sitting next to a couple (the lady is pregnant) and her husband smokes profusely. My wife has a cardiac condition and lost her father to lung cancer. Until this hotel realises that they need to create non smoking areas, it will remain a 1 star. That said, Turkey should generally be avoided if one can’t stand cigarette. Non of the hotels appear to have come to that realisation yet.

First time to hotel not the area. Great quick check in and pleased with room.
Pool area fantastic loads going on with the choice of an adult quiet pool if required.
Food absolutely fantastic, so many choices for all and the use of the pool snack bar. How can anyone moan about the food is beyond me.
Drinks typical of an AI package overall good, staff very good and friendly in all bars.
Room cleaned and towels changed every day.
We preferred to go out every evening after food so didn't see much entertainment.
Location fantastic right on the doorstep of everything you need.

Will definitely visit this hotel when looking at Oludeniz again, hopefully in the near future.

Everything was good, clean, and well maintained. The staff was very helpful and friendly.

4th visit and again was a great stay.Staff are all fantastic and very friendly and always willing to help. We had requested a room near adult pool when booking 6 months ago but unfortunately this wasn’t possible.We were allocated a room looking out on to strip but thankfully the heavy door minimised the noise however our friends had to be moved as they were allocated a double bed. We reported our fridge not working on 3 occasions but wasn’t fixed during our stay. Muhamet at adult pool is an absolute credit and his presence is definitely missed on his day off! This hotel has definitely been our favourite and the only issues have been minimal. Food and drinks are excellent and would definitely recommend this hotel! We also used the onsite spa and this was also brilliant!

I’m going to start by saying this hotel is a very good standard 4 star hotel by comparison to other hotels that said for its class it is out standing. Having stayed next door in sun city several times we decided to give Sundia a try. It had a lot to live up to based on its current reviews and it did do. Il rate each section
Food
This was excellent better than expected good choice each day in buffet restaurant and fantastic service from staff. The snack restaurant is table service and food is cooked fresh a wide choice from the menu pizzas kebabs and burgers plus lots more .
Bars
Quality cocktails including Aperol spritz prosecco decent wines and other drinks all on the AI menus only disappointment was no rum available on AI menu
Rooms
Modern clean and perfectly acceptable if your not near the strip some of the rooms were in a noisy area but we weren’t.
Entertainment
This was good live DJ on roof terrace in early evening was good also enjoyed live band.
Pools
2 pools one large main pool with lots going on including foam party’s games etc and over 18s pool that is quite would like to say thanks to Mohamed at quite pool bar he was fantastic.
Staff
Again absolutely fantastic every one went out of their way to deliver good service

On the main strip 3mins from beach perfect if you want tonne near the action.

Have just returned from our second stay at Sundia by Liberty at Olu Deniz, another fabulous two weeks of relaxation in the sunshine. We seriously cannot fault the hotel or any of the staff. Can’t wait to return again next year. The hotel is located in a very central location providing easy access to the strip where you will find lots of lovely shops, restaurants, bars and the beaches. The dolus is easy to find if you want to venture to hisaronu or Fethiye

Pool is lovely which has a ladder & walk-in steps, . It was a lovely temperature. Also has plenty of sunloungers. Lovely and comfortable sunlounger mattresses. Two lifeguards working which is good very good & friendly particular Erdem.

We stayed in room 1704 ground floor room as my mum had mobility scooter so this could be charged in the room which was great location & suitable room for us. Our maid was Demet amazing couldn’t do enough, cleaning was spot on. Rooms were lovely and clean and modern.

Although are room backed onto the strip VIP bar the noise wasn’t that much and never kept us awake.

The mini fridge is always stocked up daily.

We used the spa had many treatments from Turkish bath and massage / massages with Irfan, Kadek and Niluh who are all great at what they do. We also had the after-sun package which was again lovely and relaxing.

Kaya helped us book the packages that we wanted and a special shoutout to Sharon in the spa reception also. All staff are so friendly & lovely.

Entertainment team were just great and had so much energy and very friendly never hassle you to join in with anything if you don’t want to.

Umut & icardi were fantastic along with the others from the team. Pool party on a Wednesday is great everyone seems to enjoy this of all ages.

Although there is a quiet pool for adults only we didn’t use this. As we prefer the goinig-on around the main pool and there is only steps to access the adult / quiet pool.

The hotel grounds are immaculate. The gardens are beautifully maintained and all areas pathways / pool areas were kept exceptionally clean and tidy.

Breakfast had a great selection and freshly cooked omelettes. Lunchtime - snack bar 12.30-16.00, option where meals are cooked fresh, from pasta, burgers, pizzas, chicken, lamb kebabs, fish plenty of choice, ice creams are also served. But you can also use the main restaraunt with Buffett style.

Are main waiters at the snack bar Serdar was brilliant couldn’t do enough, Beril also very good and friendly.

Snack bar staff great but again special mention to Metin and the main bar staff who are great, very friendly and always knew what your order is and had it ready! (Can’t remember all their names)

Main restaurant great and friendly staff again, some of the food is quite repetitive could do with mixing it up a little, found something most days

Eray at the bar by reception was brilliant so friendly and always happy, also knew what you wanted she was just brilliant. The melon slushie was lovely and refreshing. She also always knew what we wanted.

The hotel is disable friendly but the lift from reception you need to get the staff to operate it as it’s not a closed lift but does the job.

Reception staff were all brilliant but a special mention to

Egemen, Servet, Sercon who are always willing to help my mum with the mobility scooter up and down in the manual lift and out the door due to the steep ramp. All the staff are always helpful and cheery happy to do anything for you.

Guest relations very helpful as usual Nuray Kivrak. Along with the security staff.

Lockable luggage room one thing they are lacking is a proper scales to weigh your suitcases before leaving for the airport like suncity have. Where as Sundia by Liberty just have a hand scales

I had my hair and microblading done at London hair studio in Hisaronu as I have done for years

This was my first trip to Turkey and we chose this hotel based on the reviews placed on their Web site, my reviews are based on first impressions some down sides to this hotel and some lovely ups about it too,
so where do I start,
firstly I'd say to the hotel stop giving out the room 1019, the hotel is getting a bad name right at this point of a holiday, before it's even started,
any way
I have to say the hotel is in an absolutely fabulous location, next to the strip, bars shops, short trip to markets and cable car etc, superb and a short distance for the beach, having arrived late at night, we where greeted at the private transfer mini bus as soon as we arrived, very very impressed, good start, we was then lead into reception, where we checked in extremly excited by the reviews and the images on the net, we were lead to our room, Incidentally we had paid for a superior garden view room wow here we go, as we was lead to room 1019 the door was opend and this is where our hearts sank it was extremely small and clostraphobic, very tiny, ok fare enough we thought, photos can be deceiving, we sat feeling deflated and then said this surely can't be right, I looked out the window and a ladder was in the garden this was all we could see due to night time, I could see cars parked I said to my wife this can't be right, there was a constant buzzing from outside, we checked their web site again and the room looked different to what we paid for, so I went to reception and said is this actually a superior room and garden view I was reassured by the desk staff yes it is, I said really, I said I'm not happy tbh as it looked nothing like what we paid for and wanted moving, they told me to Come back after breakfast and we would be moved, ok fair enough, as night turned into day i hadn't slept all night for the constant buzzing and not to mention the extremely loud boom boom boom, I got out of bed from a sleepless night to open he curtains, I was disgusted and in some form very angry the view and garden was horrific ladders sheets and an array of extractors aircon units and just a shear mess horrific, I said to my wife absolutely no way is this a superior room with garden view we are not staying in this for a week, I went outside the hotel to find staff and said if we are not moved we want flights home, was told to come after breakfast and we would be moved, any way the manager, Mehmit got us in his office around 9.30 asked if everything was OK I said no the room was terrible and we are really not happy, he siad he wanted us to have a nice holiday he then moved us to another room which was what we originally had paid for, a superior room garden view infact a beautiful room right next to the adult pool absolutly superb now our holiday had begun, we was finally happy, although somethings should be looked at as the balcony was very very small, you couldn't really sit outside as it was very small non the less a balcony, one good idea tho the room had insect mesh on the windows so could be opend at night brilliant ad great shower, the adult pool was lovley, all staff are amazing and super people superb from cleaning staff upwards, will say tho one guy who we beleive was a manager, I think puts the fear of god in the staff, not good to see from a visitors point of view, the staff are superb they don't need fear from above, hotel is spotless and kept clean constantly the food is a little repetitive some days hit and miss not much variety that said it's ok not great but ok the drinks are not good either tbh that could do with looking at not many cocktails and cheaper sprits on offer all others paid for not good on an all inclusive package. The entertainment was for us not good there was a great African acrobat crew on stage very good apart from that not for us we thought not good really, The adult pool could do with some gradual inbuilt steps Into the pool to allow access for those who need it and not pool ladders, all in all staff absolutly amazing, lovley location and extremely clean, would we go back yes we would absolutely depste the hickups had a lovley time once we had been moved rooms, spoke to few people who had been put in 1019 and wasn't happy the same as us. One more thing some of the seats in restraunt eating area could do with the cushions cleaning, here the staff are amazing always topping your water at the table and very attentive to you will be looking to re book, this is our honest view of the Sundia hotel dont be put off by our comments as everyone is different
