Great staff. Location was fantastic.
Very friendly staff! The room was clean and comfortable. Great coffee! Unfortunately, the shower leaked which was annoying when trying to sleep.
Centrally located
Friendly front desk people
The hotel is well located with lots of bars and restaurants located nearby. The staff was extremely friendly. We didn’t have a room for early check-in but when we got back, our bags were already in our room, which was great customer service. Just make sure to make reservations for the breakfast
Husband on a trip with teenage son. Arrived at hotel to be told check in was 4pm so they went away returned at 4 and room was still not available due to 70 Lionel Ritchie fans taking precedence. Eventually checked in at 7.15pm. They were told by the man on the front desk to go and wait in the bar area and given free drinks tokens which were only for wine. Son was ID and told to get out and that if he wanted to eat or drink he could on the street!!! What sort of a hotel is this. We have stayed at Kimpton hotels many times but this takes the biscuit. They claim to be a pet friendly hotel which is obviously more important than being family friendly. To also add a sour taste when purchasing drinks etc in the bar and being encouraged to pay cash for the drinks and tips the female server would then disappear off and not give any chance. Appalling attitude and a really bad start to my husbands and sons holiday.
Rooms were just the perfect size for what we needed and were lovely and cool during a couple of hot days in Seattle. The bed was oh so very comfy. We slept well, which is what it's all about. We thoroughly enjoyed the Reception Staff and the Bar Staff and their expert cocktail making skills. The only down side was that one elevator was out of service which could lead to lengthy waits. Would definitely stay again if we need to be in Seattle. Location was great - 10 mins to the water front, 5 mins to Pikes Place.
We thoroughly enjoyed our time here. The rooms were clean and modern with a boutique vibe. The customer services was impeccable. The location was ideal. Would definitely stay again
It is a cool place- very vintage vibes.
Great smaller hotel in a convenient location. Clean, quiet, comfortable. Friendly staff. Very pet friendly
Location convenient for all the major sights. Decor and quality of fittings in public spaces and bedrooms very good, very stylish. Our bedroom was enormous and great value. Food and Staff at restaurant fantastic particularly the gentleman maitre d’, he was also an exceptional host at the evening drinks reception.
Great location close to Pike Place Market. Very friendly helpful staff.
Very cramp two bed room. No place to pu suitcases, other than a nightstand no surface to put anything. Very narrow closet space for hanging anything that almost entirely taken over by an ironing board. Three small drawers in the nightstand the only storage.
Our stay at the Kimpton Palladian Hotel was an absolute triumph from start to finish, establishing without question our definitive home away from home whenever we visit family in Seattle. The property itself is sophisticated, impeccably maintained, and a true sanctuary in the city—yet what elevates the Palladian from a lovely boutique hotel into an extraordinary one is its remarkable team.
Across every department, there is a pervasive and genuine "can-do" culture. The Front Desk staff set the tone immediately with their warmth, attentiveness, and seamless professionalism, navigating any request with intuitive, solution-oriented poise. Even the subtle touches—from the thoughtful welcome gift waiting for us to the warm greetings whenever we crossed the lobby—reflected a hotel operating at the absolute peak of its craft. We also took advantage of the fitness center; while compact, it is pristine, equipped with excellent new machinery, and a valuable amenity—with the slight addition of equipment-cleaning wipes, it would be thoroughly flawless.
Where the Palladian truly surpassed all expectations, however, was in its culinary hospitality. As vegan travelers, dining can often be an exercise in compromise, but the team at Shaker + Spear exceeded every standard. For breakfast, the culinary staff demonstrated remarkable ingenuity, curating exquisite and varied plant-based options that were a highlight of our mornings. Our server, Alexis, provided attentive and genuine care, while the maître d'hôtel, Souvik, ensured every element of our service was executed without fault.
Our appreciation for the staff’s flexibility was only heightened by a mid-stay extension. Having originally planned a shorter visit, we rebooked an additional night. Upon doing so, the front desk graciously informed us that, thanks to our loyalty status and availability, they were delighted to upgrade us to one of their magnificent suites. Their seamless handling of our luggage during this reservation transition made the experience entirely stress-free. The design aesthetic of the suite is charming and characterful, and staying in such beautifully appointed accommodations was a complete privilege.
Perhaps the single moment that best captures the spirit of the Palladian occurred during the final match of the World Cup. The hotel had thoughtfully converted a social space into a vibrant viewing parlor with large screens, drinks, and a special brunch menu. When I approached to inquire whether any vegan options might be possible given the condensed event menu, I found myself speaking directly with the Food & Beverage Manager, Jeff. Rather than offering a polite apology, Jeff instantly embraced a positive, accommodating attitude. Despite personally managing a high-energy, crowded event, he took the time to coordinate a bespoke, delicious meal for the three of us. It was a gesture delivered with such effortless grace and authentic kindness that it left us profoundly touched.
It is rare to encounter a hotel where every single team member—from the front desk to the kitchen to management—is so deeply aligned in delivering hospitality with heart. Part of me hesitates to share how exceptional this property is for fear it will always be fully booked, but credit must be given where it is so richly deserved. If you are seeking an unforgettable stay in Seattle, look no further than the Kimpton Palladian. We eagerly anticipate our return.
Great location , central , convenient , walking distance to most attractions in Seattle down town area and space needle , Glass museum etc very clean and neat .
Would improve the grandeur of the Hotel , if they can change from black coloured wall paper to half white or light cream in the Walkways which are very dark and also dimly lit adding to further gloomy feeling .
Great check in and check out process and very friendly staff . They also have a click room for early birds and late departure.
Restaurant and bar were a delight with great staff
Front desk, specifically L’Tanya, were rude and disrespectful. Constantly changing check-in time, spoke untruths about the behavior on the room adjacent to ours (it was cleaned and left open for unknown persons who stayed when it was not occupied by a customer)
Great spot for us as we had the one night in Seattle before a cruise. Great location - walkable to everything you want to see downtown. Short ride to cruise terminal. Staff was super friendly and helpful, beds and pillows very comfortable. On site restaurant was so good. Highly recommend for one night or your whole vaca in Seattle.
The hotel is very well-located by Pike Place Market, with easy access to public transport so you can get around with family or a group.
Unfortunately, our stay suffered greatly due to poor staffing set up. To be clear, the people who were actively working were doing their best and very helpful. But they could not overcome an elevator out of order (there are only 2, so the one remaining lift means waiting), and a lack of staff in the restaurant.
We had breakfast as part of our rate, and on 2 of 3 mornings, there was only one chef trying his best. This means big line-ups to be seated/eat anywhere near 9am. We got up earlier and were seated at 8am to avoid this rush, but it was still an hour wait for simple orders like a 2 egg breakfast plate because the kitchen was so backed up trying to survive.
Having stayed at Kimptons elsewhere in the world, I would squarely place this experience in the “below average” territory, rescued by its location and existing staff doing their best to keep things working.
I was very disappointed with my stay. The hotel felt extremely dark throughout, which made it feel uninviting rather than comfortable.
The biggest issue was the noise. Despite being inside my room, I could clearly hear loud street noise throughout the night, making it difficult to relax and get a good night’s sleep.
The hotel also charges a $30 USD per night amenity fee, but I struggled to see what amenities justified the extra cost. It felt like an unnecessary charge that added little value to the stay.
Parking was another major frustration. The hotel only offers valet parking at $62 USD per night, with no self-parking option available. When I asked about alternatives, I was simply told I could park somewhere else in the city if I didn’t want to use the valet service. For a hotel charging these kinds of fees, I expected more flexibility and better value.
Overall, between the dark atmosphere, excessive noise, questionable amenity fee, and extremely expensive mandatory valet parking, I would not choose to stay here again.
-Location :5/5 ( very close to the public market and walking distance to westlake station)
- Atmosphere : 5/5 ( the staffs are kind)
- Room : 4/5 (no shower door, no trash can in the bathroom)
- Value : 4/5 ( i paid over $ 1000 through the edit program for two nights but, i saw the promotion price $100 something per night on google)
