The location was great.

Cons:

I called to have the sofa bed set up but when we arrived we were told that no one could set it up for us. The front desk staff was rude and unhelpful. The next morning at check out I told the new person at the desk what happened and she said there was someone on staff that could have helped us.

It was perfect for us. We wanted to explore Shadyside, Oakland and museums. Liked the suite with kitchen and onsite parking

Great location, great staff.
Pros:

staff was excellent. Everyone was incredibly friendly and helpful. Exceptionally so. Breakfast was good and efficient with nice choices for family style serving.

This is an overall good property. Some aspects were mixed, but overall I would stay here again.

Pros:
Very convenient location. It’s a 15 minute drive to downtown, so a short trip if you plan to catch a Pirates game. It’s also a 5-10 minute drive to Carnegie Mellon University and the University of Pittsburgh, so it’s very convenient if you plan to be nearby these schools.

The hotel is also very clean with a sizable parking lot. The $24 parking fee per day was a bit annoying, but not a deal breaker to stay here again.

My family stayed in a 2 Queen suite, and the room is very spacious. The bathroom has plenty of room, including a separate vanity table + mirror. The water pressure of the shower is great. The beds are comfortable, and the AC worked well to keep us cool during the painfully hot summer. Having a fully stocked kitchen was also a nice feature.

The breakfast buffet was good. They alternated a few options each day we stayed there, which was nice. The hot food options are typical: eggs, sausage, waffles, etc. There was enough variety of hot and cold options to address any dietary needs and tastes.

The staff was provided a great level of service during our stay. Everyone we encountered was very friendly and helpful.

Cons
There are no safes in the room to keep and store your valuables, which I feel is a fairly standard feature these days.

Parts of the wall and bar table paneling were peeling, and a section of the table support leg fell off altogether. Not a huge deal because it wasn’t a safety issue, but these are aesthetics we noticed.

Overall, I would stay here again, if in the area.

Just a one night stay but it was comfortable.
Pros:

Staff was friendly and the facilities were good.

Cons:

Minor things like the alarm clock didn’t work there was nothing to write on
(Note pad or paper) other than a breakfast bar and bar no dining facility.

Very clean- staff was exceptional

Cons:

Booked a handicap accessible room but there were no hand rails at toilet and very low seat. No tub access. Had to go to public restroom to use toilet.

Safe area, very conveniently located for our needs. The indoor pool is great to relax in after a long day. The outdoor seating area is nice as well, with or without a cocktail from the bar. The complimentary breakfast and coffee are a time saver. The staff is consistently helpful and friendly.
